I did the trek in December. It was off season but for me it was the best season to go. The trek and the teahouses were not crowded so my guide can find me single rooms easily. The weather was perfect. You don't feel cold during the walk especially in low altitude, so most of the time I wore only 1 or 2 layers. When facing the sun It was actually quite hot. Only when we reach the base camp it was about -4°C at night, though it can be -20°C during bad weather. I am 28, I did regular trekking in my country but mostly in low altitude. The ABC trek reaches about 4100m so altitude sickness was a bit concern for me before the trip. I have met many people along the trek and most of them can reach above 3500m without feeling ill. It was the last few hundred meters of climb did people start having headache. But none of us require further treatment after taking pill or just having a rest. This is not a difficult trek and the roads are well indicated. No way-finding skill is required for the trek. But do expect to climb A LOT of steps:) I finished the trek in 8 days. The longest day required 6-7hrs of walk. For people who do not have regular exercise can also finish the it by making more stops in the teahouses. I think 9-10 days can be quite comfortable. The teahouses along the trek are luxury in my standard. Hot food, cold drinks, hot shower or even wifi are served(may have to pay). You can purchase purified water all the way up, so most of my carries were clothing only. A little bonus is that there is a hot spring in Jhinu. It really helps after I am not good at describing the scenery but for me the trek is very rewarding. The most beautiful part is after Deurali. You begin enter the alpine area and being surrounded by the Annapurna Massif. The view is just extraordinary. It's not like anything if you haven't seen these 7000m+ mountains. In good weather you can see the glowing sunset and sunrise casting on those mountains, and the starry night as well. Indira, Hari, Shiva and my guide Surya are very kind and responsible people. Before and during the trip I maintained close contact with the office. They took care of everything and especially they rearranged the schedule and accommodation for me due to flight delay. They treated me more like a friend than a client. My whole experience was trouble free and I will definitely return to this beautiful country again.

Harry customized our tour to make sure we had the most pleasurable experience. Several times the tour did not go as planned like when the plane ride was cancelled due to bad weather, Harry immediately had a contingent plan. Same with during the tour when we decided to take a different route, Harry was able to arrange for the accommodation. Of course, accommodation in the tea houses were spartan but the hotel in Pokhara compensated for it. Our most memorable experience so far.

If you want to do tours, trekking or mountaineering in Nepal- you can't go wrong with Icicles Adventure. My boyfriend and I took part in the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking along with one day sightseeing day tour in Kathmandu at the beginning of November and it was the best experience we had during our whole Asia trip. I wasn't too sure what to expect and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service, coordination and attention to detail given by Icicles Adventure. Very good company with very good team. Thank you so much Indira, Hari and Ram Gurung (our guide) for making our trip memorable. Thanks to Icicles Adventure, we will never forget our trip :)

It was my second trip with Icicles Adventure and without a doubt they continue offering dedicated services from fooding, lodging to transportation and extra inclusions. Now it has become my habit that before heading to explore Nepal Himalayas I clear all of my questions and doubts with Indira. She is really quick with emails. I was met by my guide Bheg Gurung at airport terminals and was never needed anything to worry about throughout the trip. My hotel Woodland at Kathmandu was also great with nice food, clean rooms and nice hospitality. My trek through the Tikehdhunga to Annapurna base camp was fantastic even though I had some health problems. I fell sick, it may be due to local unboiled water. But it is another story. They really took very good care of me and I successfully accomplished my ABC Trek. Every other thing went smoothly without any disturbances. During my trip I made some best friends forever with whom I will be in contact and I hope I will come back next time soon. I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to use their professional services again and recommend them to others.
