Our 7 days Istanbul and Cappadocia trip was fantastic! We had the greatest time and we loved our adventure . Yagiz was very helpful and quick to answer. We upgraded the hotel in Istanbul and we were very happy with Fez hotel. Everything went smoothly and it was an unforgettable experience. Our Istanbul tour guide , Baris was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting facts. We were very happy that we went to Cappadocia, it is such a unique and historical place . Our guide, Seda was wonderful, attentive and knowledgeable. We liked Turkey so much, we are thinking about going back again
7 Days Best of Istanbul and Best of Cappadocia PackageThis tour was awesome! I loved learning about the history of Turkiye through our guide, Alp. He is so knowledgeable and taught us tons of stuff about the history, culture, and religions of his country. He was really dedicated to sharing his knowledge with us and answered all our questions with a lot of patience. And he was always checking in with us to make sure we were doing well. Before the tour, I thought that Turkey would be more third world-like, but it’s not. So I learned to appreciate Turkiye more on this trip. The only negatives about this trip: I think a few of the hotel rooms were a bit small and a few didn’t have fridges. Plus I was solo on this trip and felt that I always got the worst rooms! But other than that, it was a great tour.
Highlights of TurkeyThis was a really nice smooth trip. The only issue was some of the operators we stopped at like the carpet salespeople were a bit dishonest.

Some of our customers who've done the larger bus tours with companies like Eskapas mentioned the quality can be hit or miss, and you might spend more time than you'd like on the bus between stops. The private and small group options tend to work better for most people - you get more attention from the guide and can move at a more natural pace. The way these companies adapted during Covid shows a lot about how they operate. Tour Altinkum was particularly good about working with travelers on rescheduling and refunds, which isn't something every company managed well during that time.
