Unfortunately, the date we mentioned is the only available option we can offer at the moment, as the permits for Machu Picchu on the other dates are already fully sold out. Permits for the Inca Trail are very limited and tend to sell out quickly, which is why availability can sometimes be restricted.

  we wanna book the 4-days trip with you. we are 2 girls from Germany. in the booking section it is possible to book also Huayna Picchu. And we wanna go there (hiking girls) - but in the description of the trip, I can´t see, if we have time for that 2hour (?)-hike on the last day before go down to the train? if we book this, when we can hike the Huayna Picchu?

However, time is a factor to consider, as this visit would take place after the main guided tour on the last day at Machu Picchu, and you would need to miss about 20 minutes of the guided tour to reach the entrance. The visit to Huayna Picchu takes approximately 3 hours (round trip), so you will need to manage your time to ensure you can join the group in Aguas Calientes. Please note that the visit to Huayna Picchu is on your own, and the cost of the ticket is 68 USD per person.

    We can offer other 1-day tours in Cusco, such as the City Tour, Super Sacred Valley, Rainbow Mountain, and Laguna Humantay. Additionally, we can organize the full-day tour to Machu Picchu by train, which can be for one day, or we also offer the Machu Picchu Overnight tour, a 2-day option by train.

  I am 67yrs old, in good health generally, but not super athletic, the other person is 63 and similar health situation, is this the sort of tour that we would be comfortable doing, also we do not have much experience with camping again is that something that we could be comfortable doing, or is there a tour similar to this one, but the accommodation is in hotels, finally if we can ask if the altitude would be an issue doing hiking

    Is the Inca Trail comfortable for travelers aged 63–67 with moderate fitness? Yes, absolutely, as long as you are in generally good health and enjoy walking. Every year we host many travelers in their 60s and 70s who complete the Inca Trail successfully and happily. Are there alternatives with hotel nights if we prefer more comfort? Yes, if you prefer a more comfortable option, I highly recommend the Salkantay Trek 5 days / 4 nights (with hotel on night 4). Will altitude be a problem? Altitude affects everyone differently, even very athletic people. However, in your case, the key is proper acclimatization.

    I have tried booking the Salkantay trek 4 days 3 nights beginning 20th May, but unfortunately i am over the age limit that's allowed to book, i will be 68yrs old this coming January, what are your thoughts please

    Your age is not a limitation for joining the Salkantay Trek 4 days / 3 nights. Since you mentioned that you are in good physical condition, there is absolutely no problem. If you still feel unsure or prefer something less demanding I can offer you a wonderful alternative: Short Inca Trail 2 Days / 1 Night + Hotel in Aguas Calientes. This is a beautiful, moderate trek suitable for all ages.

  As a family of three we would rather occupy the one four man tent as this will allow us to stay together and reduce our costs. We are small people so a four man tent is suffiecient for three of us. Is this possible?

    Yes, it is possible for two or three people to share the same tent. We usually provide four-person tents, but we only accommodate two people per tent for added comfort. However, if the three of you are traveling together and prefer to share one tent, we can certainly arrange that!
