Is this actually guided in English? I booked a tour 2 years ago with this company and I was the only English soaker and the tour guide did not speak much English. It was very disappointing. I want to make sure if I book this tour l, the guide will speak English while acting as a guide.

I paid extra (about double the hotel's rate) to book a day early (May 31) with the tour company (tour was to start on June 1St). Europamundo promised I would be picked up on May 31 from Orly to my Paris hotel. My flight was on time and baggage pick-up and customs went smoothly and I came out to look for my ride. No ride showed up. Called Europmundo and that problem was quickly resolved (not before I experienced a lot of aggravation and uncertainty) . I was emailed the name of the Hotel (Mercure Paris pte Versailles expo) on May 30. When our driver dropped us off at Hotel Novotel Paris Porte D'Italie, I had to take a cab (35 Euros) to the Hotel Europamundo said we were booked at. The Concierge at Mercure said we were not booked there and he called Europamundo, Now it turned out I was book at the Novotel after all. Another taxi ride (35 euros) back to Novotel, and I was finally checked in . Needly to say, I was jet lagged, upset, overcharged for the room to begin with, and exhausted from the cab rides and aggravated. I received an email on June 1st from Europamundo saying our hotel was indeed the Novotel (a day AFTER I checked in) If that email came a day earlier, the aforementioned situation would not have occurred. After this debacle, the tour went relatively smoothly. I hope Europamundo reimburses me for at least the 70 euros taxi ride, but I doubt it. Overall I would NOT recommend Europamundo toursShow more
