Dear Scott, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and candid account of your recent "Timeless Morocco" tour. On behalf of the entire team, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your patience and for the "glass half full" perspective you maintained despite the challenges you encountered. It is wonderful to hear that the scenery, our Sahara glamping experience, and the efforts of your guide left a positive impression. Our guides are the heart of our tours, and I will be sure to pass your kind words along to him. However, I also want to address the "negatives" you raised, as they provide us with a vital roadmap for improvement. Addressing Your Concerns Accommodation at Hotel Racine: Please accept our sincerest apologies for the conditions you experienced. Multiple rooms facing flooding issues is completely unacceptable. We are currently reviewing our partnership with this property and have dispatched a quality control representative to ensure these maintenance issues are resolved or to source a more reliable alternative for future departures. Transport and Comfort: Your feedback regarding the 15-seat Sprinter is well-taken. While these vehicles are standard for Morocco's narrow mountain passes, we recognize that for a 2,100 km journey, "available seats" do not always equal "comfortable travel." We are evaluating our group-to-vehicle size ratios to ensure more breathing room on these long-haul stretches. Mechanical Issues: We understand how unsettling a mechanical failure can be, especially in remote areas. While we are glad the team managed a roadside repair, we regret that the promised replacement bus did not materialize. We are reviewing our emergency protocols with our local transport providers to ensure faster, more reliable backups are prioritized. Pacing and Itinerary: Morocco is a vast and vibrant country, but we never want the "content" to come at the expense of our guests' well-being. We are looking into the daily driving durations to see where we can better balance the sightseeing with earlier arrivals at our hotels. Moving Forward We truly value that you would still recommend us, though we aim to be a company where you don't feel the need to "lower the bar." We would love the chance to welcome you back on another adventure in the future—perhaps in a different corner of the world—to show you the seamless experience we strive for. Thank you again for your patience and for being part of such a fantastic group of travelers. Safe travels,

Dear Maida, Thank you so much for sharing such a vibrant and thoughtful review of your Timeless Morocco journey! It sounds like you captured some truly "once-in-a-lifetime" moments—from that sunset camel trek into the Sahara to the high energy of the ATV riding the next morning. I am especially thrilled to hear that Ben Imad, Zac, and Tarik took such great care of you. We take immense pride in our team, and I will be sure to pass along your glowing praise to all three of them. It’s wonderful to know that Ben Imad’s knowledge and Zac’s attentive spirit made you feel well-looked after, and that Tarik kept everything moving smoothly on the road. Reflecting on Your Highlights It’s great to hear that Chefchaouen lived up to the "Blue Pearl" hype! It is a bit of a trek to get up there, so knowing it was a favorite makes the journey feel well worth it. And of course, the Barbary macaques (the "Bubir" monkeys) are always a delightful surprise for our guests—it sounds like your group really made the most of every stop! Room for Improvement We also truly appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the pace and the local fees: The Travel Pace: Morocco is a vast country with incredible landscapes, but we hear you—the drives can be long. We are constantly looking at our itineraries to see how we can better balance the "getting there" with the "being there," especially in historic hubs like Fez and Rabat. Hotel Gratuities: Thank you for bringing up the hotel fee. While this is a local custom intended to support the hardworking staff behind the scenes, we agree that transparency is key. We will review our pre-departure documentation to ensure this is more clearly disclosed so there are no surprises for our future travelers. Thank you again for choosing us to help you create these beautiful memories. We hope to see you on another adventure soon! Warmly,

Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful review of your time in Morocco! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you had a "fabulous" experience with us. It’s especially great to hear your kind words about Yassin. He truly is a master at balancing a tight schedule with the flexibility needed to really soak in the culture. We’ll be sure to pass your praise along to him—he’ll be delighted to know he made your trip so memorable! We're glad you enjoyed the endless supply of mint tea and that the Sahara sunset camel ride stood out as a highlight. There really is nothing like that desert light, is there? Thank you for recommending us to fellow travelers. We hope to welcome you on another adventure somewhere else in the world soon! Warmly, The Timeless Tours Team

Dear Alicia, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are genuinely pleased to hear that you found Ben to be a nice and informative guide, as we take great pride in the expertise of our team. However, we are truly sorry to hear that some aspects of your journey did not meet your expectations. Regarding the hotels, please know that our team is always ready to advocate for your comfort; had Ben or our office been informed about the room conditions or the broken shower doors during the trip, our guide would have been more than happy to work with the hotel management to change your room immediately. We also appreciate your comments regarding the dining experiences. We aim to provide a balanced mix of convenience and authenticity, but we want our guests to feel they have agency in their choices. For the majority of meals during your free time, you are absolutely welcome to choose any restaurant that catches your eye. Our guides are always available to offer a variety of suggestions—from local hidden gems to more international options—to ensure the price point and atmosphere match your preferences. Your feedback regarding the specific restaurant and the pricing of beverages is very helpful and will be used to review our current partnerships to ensure they provide the value our guests expect. Thank you again for helping us improve. We hope that despite these frustrations, the beauty of Morocco left you with some cherished memories. Best regards, The Timeless Morocco Team

Hi Dominick, Thank you so much for the glowing review! We are thrilled to hear that your journey with Timeless Morocco was nothing short of amazing. It’s wonderful to know that the contrast between the quiet majesty of the Sahara dunes and the vibrant, hidden flavors of the Fes Medina left such a lasting impression. We completely understand that with a country as rich as Morocco, there's always a desire to linger a little longer in certain spots—it just means there is more to discover for next time! Knowing that we could show you the country in ways you hadn't imagined is the highest compliment we can receive. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with the whole team. Until your next adventure, shukran! Warmly, The Timeless Morocco Team

It sounds like your journey through Morocco was a beautiful mix of deep culture and some unexpected challenges! I truly appreciate you sharing such an honest and thoughtful account of your time there. It is so heartening to hear that the magic of the desert, the glamping, and the camaraderie of your small group made such an impression. Yassin and your driver clearly embody the hospitality Morocco is known for, and I will make sure your high praise reaches them—it will mean a lot. At the same time, I’m so sorry that the chilly nights and the lack of hot water made things uncomfortable. While March nights can be quite crisp, you should always have a warm place to retreat to at the end of the day. We are also taking your feedback about the Marrakech guide to heart. While we understand the physical toll of fasting during Ramadan, it should never result in a guest feeling ignored or forced into a dining choice. Your suggestion for shorter, more flexible lunch breaks is excellent and exactly the kind of insight we use to make our tours better for everyone. Thank you for traveling with us and for helping us refine the "Timeless Morocco" experience. We’d love to welcome you back under even better conditions in the future.

You'll be staying in a luxury-style desert camp (near Merzouga). These tents feature private en-suite bathrooms located right inside your tent, including a flushing toilet, sink, and shower.

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten March 2026

While the Merzouga region is in eastern Morocco, the camp is situated in a safe, designated tourism zone. It is roughly 30–50 kilometers from the Algerian border, but the area is heavily monitored and very secure for travelers

    Tour Details
    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten March 2026

This specific itinerary is a group tour, not a private one. Unfortunately, the standard group departure for this tour would not suit your specific arrival and departure times because the group tour operates on a fixed schedule, it doesn't offer the flexibility needed to align with your flights.

The good news is that we can certainly arrange a private tour for you and your companion. A private tour will give you several advantages:

Custom Timing: We can start the tour immediately upon your arrival and ensure you are back at the airport by 7:00 AM on the departure day.

Tailored Pace: With 7 nights and 8 days, we can curate the route to focus on the highlights that matter most to you without being tied to a group bus schedule.

Exclusivity: You will have your own dedicated vehicle and driver/guide for the entire duration.

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

We use a curated blend of hotels and traditional Riads for this trip. Here is a list of our standard accommodations:

      Marrakech: Hotel Palm Menara
      Dades: Atlas Dades
      Desert: Luxury Desert Camp
      Fes: Lescale
      Chefchaouen: Hotel Tarek
      Meknes: Dar Meknes Tresor

If you would prefer to stay in a Riad in Marrakech, we can certainly arrange that for you.

    Tour Details
    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

Regarding your suitcases, you don't need to worry about "backpacking" into the dunes! Since you have a private vehicle and driver for the duration of the trip, your suitcases will remain securely with the vehicle or be transported directly to the camp area. You won't be expected to trek through the sand with heavy bags. We handle the logistics so your belongings are accessible when you arrive at your tent. It is also worth noting that we use luxury private tents for our desert camping. These aren't basic camping setups; they are well-appointed with comfortable beds and en-suite facilities, providing a good level of comfort right in the heart of the dunes.

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

If you cancel up to 60 days before departure, you forfeit your deposit. Cancelling 59 days before departure means you forfeit 40% of the tour cost, and 30 days before departure, you forfeit 100% of the tour cost.

how much is the deposit usually? and ... what are other options other than cancel, for example moving to a different date, will the same rule apply?

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

If you cancel your confirmed booking you must notify us in writing. Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances given the initial costs incurred by us in making your booking. Should one or more member of a party cancel, it may increase the per person holiday price of those still travelling and you will be liable to pay this increase. Cancellation charges: More than 60 days - Deposit only. From 59 to 31 days - 40% of tour cost. 30 days or less - 100% of tour cost. Amendment charges are not refundable in any circumstances. Certain arrangements may not be amended after they have been confirmed and any alteration or cancellation could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements in addition to the charge above. If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges.

Do we have the ability to upgrade the hotels and possibly include Marriott hotels due to membership? Also, How much time is allotted to Casablanca? It seems like half a day?

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten January 2026

Yes, you can upgrade the hotels accommodation, however, as you have a Marriot membership, I would advice to book the hotels directly and we can arrange all transportations, guides etc. Yes, we do spend half a day in Casablanca.

If I book the hotels directly then I would have to pay for them in addition to the package tour which includes accommodations. That doesn't makes sense. If I have to book and there is a difference in price then I can see where I would pay the difference from what the package tour already provides. Can you clarify? Also, is there a way to extend the stay in casablanca? 1/2 day seems short.

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten January 2026

Of course the tour price will be reduced by 300 USD per person if you have booked your own accommodation. If you wish you ca leave the tour in Casablanca instead of returning back to Marrakech.

This is very vague response. Can you provide me a list of the hotels or riads for every night on this trip? Can you also explain what you mean by stay in Casablanca? Does that mean the tour will end early if staying in Casablanca or can we extend the tour?

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten January 2026

Please find below the list of hotels we typically use for our itinerary:

      Marrakech: Hotel Palm Menara
      Dades: Atlas Dades
      Desert: Luxury Camp
      Fes: Lescale Hotel
      Chefchaouen: Hotel Tarek
      Meknes: Dar Meknas Tresor

Regarding the conclusion of the trip, I you like like to extend your stay in Casablanca the tour will end there or travel back to Marrakech with the group.

Let's address the hotels first. These are 3 star hotels by the research I have found with their names. Other than the luxury camp in the desert, what would be available upgrades of hotels in each of these locations?

    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten February 2026

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer room upgrades for this trip. Since this is a group tour, managing individual upgrades is difficult from an operational standpoint. We appreciate your understanding.

I'm enquiring if we could leave the tour at Casablanca rather than Marrakech as we would prefer a Casablanca to Casablanca tour.

    Tour Details
    • Timeless ToursOperatorWritten January 2026

You can definitely end your tour in Casablanca. Our Best of Morocco tour is designed for exactly that. It covers the same amazing sites, uses the same accommodation, and features the same tour guides as the Timeless Morocco tour.

The only distinction is the ending point:

Best of Morocco: Ends in Casablanca.

Timeless Morocco: Returns to Marrakech for the final night.
