Nice trip with very good memories a good mix of visiting monuments, discoveting cities and the desert.Swastik India Journeys answer quickly at all our questions and needs, thanks a lot . Shandeep our driver was excellent ONE of the Best driver in Rajasthan. Discovering artisanal activities can be interesting but not too much because you then have the bad feeling guides try to make you buy articles from specials shops they have choosen , more than share with you the history and the real way of india life. Il will be interesting to have before the trip a list of the different visits with the prices and their average time,as well as the time of driving each Day. We really like Jasalmer but not the camel tour too commercial.
Royal Rajasthan with Taj Mahal TourOverall we had a great time - all of the local guides used were very knowledgeable and we visited many very interesting places that were off the main foreign tourist routes. The absolute superstar of our trip was our driver/guide Prakash who was with us for the whole tour; his care, kindness and attention on what was our first trio to India really made the experience for us. We were disappointed with a couple of the hotels we stayed in: This tour is billed as using "Heritage Luxury" hotels and two of the five we stayed in definitely were not; both were built new in the last 10 years (one in 2022) and one was more than 10km form the centre of the city we were visiting and was of very poor quality. If you do think about booking this tour I would suggest you get the list of hotels proposed by the operator before you commit and research them yourself to ensure you are happy,
Heritage luxury hotel Rajasthan tourAs an experienced traveler, I was still somewhat anxious about traveling solo to India for the first time. Thanks to Aamir and the team at Varanasi Excursion, the entire journey went smoothly and professionally from start to finish. Every day, the driver Mr. Bablu was my first point of contact and he took excellent care of me while navigating the sometimes hectic atmosphere of India with great calm and reliability. The guides at the different tourist locations were knowledgeable and professional, and all arranged hotels exceeded my expectations in comfort and quality. I can highly recommend Varanasi Excursion to anyone considering a trip through India, they truly take care of everything and make you feel safe, comfortable and well supported throughout your journey.
