The tour was really well organised and took all the stress out of all the transfers and finding trains etc. The hostels were all clean and helpful and any issues were sorted very quickly . My tour leader Tom (aka Liam Payne) was super helpful and knowledgeable about the areas (best places for food etc) . Great sense of humour too haha

"This was a combined trip/s from Berlin to Budapest and then Budapest to Spit so I had an experience with two different tour groups. The scenery and history is explained so well by our tour guide and learning more about the Serb/Bosnian war was invaluable. Auschwitch was cold, wet and raining and it depicted the conditions under which these people had to survive. Very moving day indeed for all. Budapest has such beautiful scenery and lovely icecream, cakes and chocolates! Spit is a walled city and I was there before the crowds which made it more comfortable for all.

"The New Year in Holland and the Romantic Rhine (port to port) was a lovely cruise. My husband and I were very happy with the staff, the cruise itself and the places we visited. It was relaxing and informative. The food was wonderful and varied and well presented. We did not have to do anything, the staff greeted us on arrival and took our bags to the cabin, and took our bags to the taxi on departure. We had a great time.

Discover Western Europe tours for every budget
Budget travelers love our Rome to Lisbon coastal route that covers five countries in two weeks. It's designed well, giving you proper free time to wander through places like Lagos and Granada on your own. Another solid choice takes you from Amsterdam through Paris and down to Rome - you'll cook tapas with Barcelona locals and walk Rome's old streets at night with guides who really know their history. Our customers tell us they like how these tours mix planned activities with free time, so you can join group dinners or explore local restaurants yourself.
Our Complete Scandinavia tour handles everything across Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland for travelers who want comfort and quality. You'll kayak around Vrango Island, try traditional fika in Alingsas and stay in excellent hotels throughout. We've added special touches like early morning visits to Stockholm's Vasa Museum before other tourists arrive, and quiet evenings at local restaurants after the crowds leave. There's also time set aside to watch master glassblowers at work in a traditional Venice arts center - our travelers particularly enjoy these authentic moments.

Demographics
Our Rome to Lisbon coastal route works beautifully for solo travelers, mixing guided activities with plenty of free time to explore. People quickly make friends over tapas in Barcelona and group dinners in local Roman trattorias. The Paris through French wine country to Switzerland route is another favorite - with small groups, you'll bond naturally while tasting wines in Beaune's historic cellars or exploring Amsterdam's waterways. Our travelers often tell us how quickly they feel part of the group, whether they're wandering Paris's Latin Quarter at night or discovering Venice's quiet corners.
Couples tend to pick our deeper cultural experiences that mix romance with local authenticity. On the Complete Scandinavia route, you can watch the sun set over Stockholm's island views and share traditional fika coffee breaks in small Swedish towns. The British Isles tour lets couples walk together along the Cliffs of Moher and spend nights in cozy Highland hotels. Our travelers love having both structured activities and quiet time together, whether they're finding hidden spots in Rome's Trastevere or taking evening walks along Amsterdam's lit-up canals.
The Barcelona to Berlin route really clicks with young adults by mixing history, active experiences and good nightlife. You'll cycle through Amsterdam, kayak around Vrango Island and hang out in Europe's best beer halls. There's wine tasting in Beaune's old cellars before heading to Paris for Eiffel Tower climbs and Louvre visits. Our guides know their stuff - from Barcelona's best tapas spots to Brussels' craft beer scene and Berlin's underground music spots. People who've done these tours tell us they made real friends while still keeping their independence.
Our senior travelers prefer well-paced tours that balance comfort with cultural depth. Many choose Swiss routes using the excellent rail system, with plenty of time to explore places like Gruyères and Lucerne without rushing. The London through French wine regions to Italy route is another hit - we include dinners at local restaurants and museum visits with everything arranged. Travelers appreciate having centrally located hotels and shorter walking distances to main sites, while still getting rich experiences like Vienna's classical concerts or watching Venice's master glassmakers at work.
For families, our Madrid route hits all the right notes with hands-on activities kids actually enjoy. They get to make their own tapas in Barcelona and explore the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium - which our soccer fans can't get enough of. Swiss tours are another solid pick where families take cable cars up to Glacier 3000 and visit the Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory for some sweet sampling. Kids particularly love watching glass-blowers at work in Venice before hopping on gondolas through the canals. Our guides know exactly how to keep everyone interested, using stories and interactive moments to make Rome's ancient sites come alive for both parents and children.
