This is an extremely good tour made excellent by the quality of the guides. Sonya, in Armenia, was particularly impressive.
- Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia Tour (12 days)
Totally amazing tour. The different guide for each country made it more special as they were all very knowledgeable about their country. Highly recommend to anyone looking to travel through this region
- Introducing Georgia and Its People
I really enjoyed this tour. It took us to Mtskheta, Kazbegi (Stepanmintsda) and the Kakheeti region. It was an intense 4 days, full of learning, discovery and amazing natural sights (mountains, rivers, streams, reservoirs etc...) and of course countless churches and monasteries. Our guide, Mr Paata made it an exceptional tour. A kind, knowledgeable and friendly man, he made sure we enjoyed the tour, adjusted it to our needs and offered suggestions on what to do and where to stay for the rest of my trip. Paata made this tour much more pleasant & memorable. Madloba Paata! I really fell in love with this beautiful country, so small yet so packed with history, natural beauty and exceptionally warm people.
Travel Caucasus your way
The Caucasus mountains have some excellent multi-day hikes that range from laid-back village walks to proper glacier climbs. Our most popular route takes you through medieval Svaneti where old stone watchtowers still stand guard - you'll walk 4-5 hours daily covering 10-14km at a comfortable pace. If you're up for something more challenging, the Mount Shkhara glacier route follows the Enguri River to its source on an 18km round trip. We've got several tours that mix hiking with local culture, combining walks in Martvili Canyon and Lagodekhi National Park with nights in mountain villages. The Ushba waterfall trek lets you choose your challenge - stop at the base for a rest or push on up steep trails for fantastic valley views. Our travelers often mention how much they like having options, with tours offering both gentle valley walks and more demanding high-altitude routes near Mount Kazbek.
Our Georgia and Azerbaijan tours blend outdoor activities with real cultural experiences. Many routes go through the Chaukhi Mountains where you'll find perfect hiking conditions among wildflower meadows and flowing rivers. Down on the Batumi coast, you can kayak Lake Sevan or explore subtropical beaches. We arrange stays in remote villages like Becho and Ushguli where you'll often help locals with their daily farming work. Our customers love the 4x4 trips through Truso Gorge and up to hidden mountain churches. These trips stand out because you're active but also deeply involved in local life - one day you might learn traditional copper crafting in Lahij village, the next you're hiking to ancient rock art in Qobustan.
Explore a wide diversity of coach / bus tours through Caucasus. We have 8 adventures that vary from 5 days to 20 days. With the greatest number of departures in September, this is also the most popular time of the year.
Our explorer tours really get you into the heart of the Caucasus, going well beyond surface-level sightseeing. There's this excellent route that follows the old Silk Road through Azerbaijan and Georgia - you'll check out ancient rock art at Qobustan before heading up into the mountain regions. If you want to focus just on Georgia, we've got a great option that lets you cook with local families, walk through the pristine forests of Lagodekhi National Park and climb up to these incredible churches tucked away high in the Caucasus. Our travelers tell us they love how we mix planned activities with free time, so they can properly take in each place they visit. Most tours include nights in those traditional tower houses in Mestia and time in UNESCO-listed Mtskheta, while the more adventurous routes push into Armenia where you'll explore old monasteries and get hands-on with local wine making.

In Azerbaijan, we run a thorough tour from modern Baku all the way to remote Khinalig village at 7,200 feet up, where mountain traditions are still very much alive. Our travelers particularly like how we balance scheduled activities with free time to wander and discover.
These 10-day journeys through the Caucasus weave together Azerbaijan's rich heritage, Georgia's mountain vistas and Armenia's deep Christian traditions. Our guests often start in Azerbaijan, where they can explore the 6000-year-old rock art at Qobustan, before visiting villages like Lahij, where copper crafting and yogurt-making traditions live on through local families. Once in Georgia, visitors spend time in family wine cellars learning about qvevri winemaking, and trek up to see the Gergeti Trinity Church, with spectacular views stretching across the Caucasus mountains. What makes these tours special is their mix of culture and activity - you might spend one morning learning traditional recipes in a mountain home, and that afternoon exploring Azerbaijan's mud volcanoes or Georgia's ancient cave monasteries. Our travelers appreciate how the itinerary balances city hotels with stays in rural guesthouses, giving them genuine insights into regional life. With 2-3 nights in key spots, there's enough time to absorb local customs while visiting essential historical places like the Palace of Khans in Sheki, the ancient capital of Mtskheta and Armenia's valuable manuscript collections.
