What people love about Provence Tours
- Cycle Provence
Everything that mattered was really good! The group of participants gelled very well, everyone seemed to enjoy the company of everyone else, so the marketing must be well focussed to get such a group of like-minded, like-focussed people. The tour leader was excellent. Andrew was able to read the group, adjust the activities, up or down, so that everyone seemed satisfied, regardless of their ability. Accommodations were basic, but comfortable, and there really wasn't time to do anything in the room but sleep and shower after the days' activities and socialising. The activity level was fairly demanding, days were full. It is not a relaxing vacation, but very satisfying for anyone looking for this kind of adventure

There were problems in getting correct tour information from tourradar/Explore and in trying to pay for the tour. Erwin was a very good tour leader, enthusiastic and helpful.

Overall amazing experience! Met some amazing people and enjoyed some beautiful views. While it was the hottest time of the year, our team had a great support system to ensure everyone was well hydrated. The bikes were nice and sturdy, especially climbing up some of those monstrous hills and the paniers were very handy! I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to enjoy the countryside and south of France!

"Both my husband and I loved this bike tour! This was the first one we have done, and it exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide Erwin was amazing, very knowledgeable & accommodating and did a tremendous job! The tour itself was absolutely incredible, with village after village of beautiful rolling landscape of the Provence region. The highlight of the trip was our bike to Gordes, with breathtaking views of the village! The only recommendation I have is unless you’re an avid biker, I highly recommend an e-bike option! I am a fairly fit individual, but having the e-bike was a huge help and absolutely made the trip much more enjoyable.

"Rooms very small and bathroom tiny. No choice of meals. Loud announcements early each morning whether you were going on an excursion or not. No chance to sleep in if you wanted to. No advance notice of the final destination port until the day before the end consequently all the direct trains to Paris we're booked out. It cost is an €80 taxi fare.

"Of all my Uniworld cruises, this itinerary is the best one by far! The S.S. Catherine is absolutely stunning, with a grand entrance that is like no other. That's what I love about Uniworld - not one ship in their fleet looks like the next. Makes the onboard experience just as great as the onshore experience. The kayaking on the Gardon River is perhaps one of my favorite excursions of any vacation I've taken. This sailing had biking, hiking and kayaking, which was great.
