if we arrive in Dar es Salam is there anyway to be picked up from there to start the tour the day after?

If you plan to arrive in Dar es Salaam, we kindly recommend booking a connecting flight to Kilimanjaro or Arusha. Our airport transfers are arranged from these two locations, and the drive from Dar es Salaam is quite long and not ideal for the start of this safari.

If our flight arrived at Kilimanjaro airport 04:05 how would logistics work? Is there a certain time your driver starts work and what time would we be able to check in to the hotel?

We confirm that we can pick you up at 04:05 or at the any other time your flight lands. We are flexible and will arrange everything to ensure a smooth arrival.

I can see group size is 2-6 however i can choose to search for 8 people and the tour still comes up. We currently have 4-5 confirmed, but if we were to add on more would they be able to do the tour the same date and it would just be a separate vehicle?

While the tour listing shows a group size of 2–6 guests per safari vehicle, we are able to operate the safari for a larger group on the same travel dates. If the group size exceeds six guests, we simply arrange an additional safari vehicle. All participants travel on the same itinerary and dates, with activities fully coordinated throughout the safari.

Can you provide a German-speaking guide for the safari?

We will be happy to request a German-speaking guide for your safari.

How much does it cost to add the Odulvai Gorge visit?

The cost of the Olduvai Gorge visit is USD 50 per person. Please note that this add-on is subject to confirmation, as it depends on whether the entire group is willing to include it in the tour experience.

Just got back from an incredible safari in Tanzania and honestly couldn’t recommend it more. Our guide, Jerry, was a huge part of what made the trip so special. He was extremely knowledgeable, not just about the animals, but also the parks and local culture, and you could tell he genuinely cared about giving us the best experience possible. He went out of his way every day to track down wildlife and make sure we didn’t miss anything, which made it feel really personal, especially since we were there on our honeymoon. Every place we stayed was fantastic as well. The hotels were comfortable, well run, and the staff everywhere were warm and accommodating, which made a big difference after long days out on game drives. The standout moments were definitely getting up close to cheetahs and lions, something I didn’t fully appreciate until it actually happened. Being that close to them in the wild is pretty surreal. All up, it was an amazing experience and one I’d recommend to anyone thinking about doing a safari.Show more

Our Driver guide was very perceptive and switched on which enabled us to find the big five despite the grass being very long currently in Serengeti so it is not always easy to find the animals but he knew exactly how to find them .He was very knowledgeable about the animal behaviour and about the whole territory that we traversed. My daughter and I just returned from the most amazing trip to Tanzania. Muddy was our driver/guide for the duration of the trip and he was fantastic! He has been doing this for 22 years and his knowledge is unmatched! The facts he was able to share about the animals and the plants were fascinating. He made sure we were positioned to get the best photos at every opportunity. The lodges were all clean and comfortable, especially the Serengeti Lodge. - Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
