Overall our experiences with this tour were mixed. Our driver was very friendly and took great care of us, even though the communication wasn’t that easy, because he didn’t speak english very well. We always felt safe when he was driving. Our Guide led us through the advertised locations and could give us interesting facts about them. We felt he did not quite understand our follow-up questions, though. We also were led to way too many locations and people that urged us to buy something, which made us feel uncomfortable as we were just three students with not a lot of money to spare and did not feel that looking at jewelry repeatedly was very interesting as part of the program. If one sets aside these selling parts, the tour wasn't that extensive. And, what we found shocking because we didn't read the description of the tour up into the last detail: the tour contains a ride on elephants. Please put that into the main description!! We think this is animal cruelty and would've never deliberately taken part in this activity. You could see how the elephants suffered in the heat whilst they were kicked and beaten with sticks to get them going.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Memorable India Journeys. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
