"When we shared with family & friends in Singapore our plans to visit Pakistan, first question - is it safe? Second, is it convenient & reliable to travel there? So in retrospect, my wife & I were so glad and grateful we engaged Exploria for our 10 days introduction to Gilgit-Baltistan & Islamabad. Exploria checked all the right boxes, and then some. The flexible & all-encompassing itinerary, the well chosen accommodations, the comfort of travel provided despite the long distances, the sumptuous meals served, all pointed to one thing - The meticulous planning, comprehensive local knowledge & professional dedication of the Exploria team. Special shoutout to Mr Ajmal who planned our trip well & Mr Rashid - our guide & trusted traveling companion. We highly recommend for everyone to include Northern Pakistan on the bucket list. Having been to Swiss ourselves, we believe the mountains, lakes & valleys that Gilgit-Baltistan have to offer are on par, if not superior. Definitely the mountains are much taller. Just need to add cable cars to the summit. We took lots of photos of the wonderful sceneries during our 10-day travels, and fondly look back at them. One thing we realized, it can never do justice compared to seeing it with our own eyes. And the photos could never capture the warmth, sincerity & hospitality of the locals who crossed our path.

Our budget-friendly Pakistan tours take you through the heart of the north in 7-10 days, hitting the must-sees without breaking the bank. You'll explore Hunza Valley and Fairy Meadows, walk up to Baltit Fort and catch sunrise from Duikar viewpoint. Our travelers love connecting with local families in Karimabad and taking boat rides on Attabad Lake - the water really is that incredible turquoise color you see in photos. The hotels are simple but clean, and most have fantastic mountain views right from your window. We've mapped out routes that include crossing the famous Hussaini bridge and driving up to Khunjerab Pass, keeping everything affordable while making sure you don't miss the good stuff.
The luxury options run 10-14 days and combine the capital Islamabad with mountain regions like Hunza, Skardu and Gilgit-Baltistan. You'll stay at the 5-star Serena in Islamabad and carefully picked boutique hotels up north. What makes these tours special are the little extras - having dinner in local homes, watching private cultural shows at camp and visiting organic gardens at places like Khaplu Fort. Our clients really appreciate being able to mix things up - maybe do a trek toward Nanga Parbat one day and take a scenic flight over the Karakorams the next. The guides know exactly where to take you for both the main sites and those quiet spots tourists usually miss.

Demographics
Solo travelers tend to gravitate toward our Karakoram Mountain treks, where you'll explore Nangma Valley and connect with local shepherd communities. There's a good mix of guided activities and time to wander on your own. You'll camp in some amazing spots like Mingulo Broq, sharing Balti dishes under incredibly clear starlit skies. Our solo travelers often tell us about the friendships they form while tackling challenges together, like the hike up to Amin Brakk base camp at 4,500 meters, then unwinding with evening performances by local musicians. We provide quality camping gear and experienced guides who know how to create a welcoming vibe for everyone traveling alone.
Couples really connect with our heritage tours that blend historical sites and mountain scenery. Starting in Karachi, you'll explore the impressive Shah Jahan Mosque, ancient Chaukhandi Tombs and then head north to discover Indus Valley sites. The mix of history and natural landscapes works perfectly - you'll visit places like Mohenjo-daro and Makli Necropolis (both UNESCO sites), catch sunset views at Clifton Beach and stay in nice hotels that put you close to both busy markets and quiet temples. Our couples often mention how much they enjoy having active days exploring followed by relaxed evenings immersed in local culture.
Young adults tend to pick our active mountain tours that blend trekking with local culture in the Karakoram range. You'll camp under incredibly clear starry skies in Nangma Valley and cross suspension bridges over fast-moving rivers. One night you might join locals for traditional music, the next day you're trekking to a 4,500-meter base camp. Many travelers like starting in Islamabad to get their bearings before heading into the mountains to explore glaciers and remote villages. The spots around Attabad Lake make for great photos, and if you time it right, you can join in on local festivals.
The Hunza Valley region is perfect for families, with activities that hit just the right balance for all ages. Parents tell us they love watching their kids learn traditional cooking like dawdo soup alongside local families, while the children get excited about picking fresh apricots right from the trees. One mom mentioned how her kids couldn't get enough of the rock climbing while she joined cooking classes nearby. We've set up comfortable hotels in Islamabad and Hunza, and our guides are great at reading what different family members want to do - whether it's a quiet walk through village streets or crossing the Hussaini suspension bridge. Many families appreciate having female guides available, which adds an extra layer of comfort for everyone.
