I'm from the tourism island of Jamaica so I'm used to high service standards to guests, but the experience on this trip blew my mind away. From the start, the tour operator Bakhsh went out of his way to help me through a ton of challenges - from getting a Pakistani visa to adjusting flight schedules to building a customised tour programme. Like the average outsider I was initially hesitant because of all the noise about safety in the media, but when I got there it was a totally different from what I heard. Yes I saw lots of security guards with guns, but I see more and bigger guns around me being carried by police and citizens everyday when I'm in the US. I read about more innocent people being killed in random mass shootings at stores and churches and schools in the US, than I read about terrorist attackes in Pakistan When I started the tour, the tour guide Kushnood and the two drivers Farouk and Mtia took it to another level. Kushnood was the bomb, I asked a ton of questions about Pakistani life and he took me deep into what the country was all about and its history and culture. That's what I travelled thousands of miles to learn and I was well satisfied! He also was a great help finding the mandatory Pakistani souveneirs. We negotiated some excellent bargains - you can get 100% Persian silk carpets in Pakistan for hundreds of dollars less than the over-priced ones in Turkey! Unfortunately I picked up a bad flu (to my surprise it was much colder than Jamaica) but he helped my with getting medication as I limped along. Very helpful and friendly people all around - his mother even made me a pot of traditional herbal rice to help me recover! I also picked up an upset stomach from trying to mix and match the spicy food, but that was actually a benefit in disguise. Kushnood took me to the local hospital to replace fluids lost by vomiting, but this exposed me to the healthcare system in Pakistan. Trust me, if you get sick on your tour you're in good hands! I advise everyone to look past the hype from those who need it to sell papers and visit Pakistan for a memorable experience. Just do your research on what food to eat and clothes to wear and you'll be OK!
- by Dudley BarrettEverything was fine. Bakshs and Imtiaz, our driver were very good and went beyond their duties. We felt safe. Car was clean and in good condition. Restaurants were good for vegetarian and non vegetarian. Every one were punctual. We had ample time to see every thing. We recommend highly this tour.

When we shared with family & friends in Singapore our plans to visit Pakistan, first question - is it safe? Second, is it convenient & reliable to travel there? So in retrospect, my wife & I were so glad and grateful we engaged Exploria for our 10 days introduction to Gilgit-Baltistan & Islamabad. Exploria checked all the right boxes, and then some. The flexible & all-encompassing itinerary, the well chosen accommodations, the comfort of travel provided despite the long distances, the sumptuous meals served, all pointed to one thing - The meticulous planning, comprehensive local knowledge & professional dedication of the Exploria team. Special shoutout to Mr Ajmal who planned our trip well & Mr Rashid - our guide & trusted traveling companion. We highly recommend for everyone to include Northern Pakistan on the bucket list. Having been to Swiss ourselves, we believe the mountains, lakes & valleys that Gilgit-Baltistan have to offer are on par, if not superior. Definitely the mountains are much taller. Just need to add cable cars to the summit. We took lots of photos of the wonderful sceneries during our 10-day travels, and fondly look back at them. One thing we realized, it can never do justice compared to seeing it with our own eyes. And the photos could never capture the warmth, sincerity & hospitality of the locals who crossed our path.
- by Iqbal SingaporeExploria has proved to be a very helpful tool in planning my honeymoon trip to the Gilgit Baltistan region. My itinerary was extremely well planned including the flights, hotels and a very well versed driver/tourist guide. The CEO, Mr. Arif had been super helpful in terms of response time, answering my queries and fulfilling my trip needs within the budget. His planning and suggestions truly depict that he has been doing this for quite a while and hence is very well experienced for the job at hand. The hotels in Hunza and Gilgit were all top notch. Personally, I would have preferred a different choice of hotel for the Skardu region mainly due to the travel times. The personal car and the tour guide provided were both excellent. Farid Bhai who acted as the driver and the guide was extremely helpful in terms of recommending good places to visit and restaurants to eat. In general, he is a good sport to travel along. Overall my trip has been very smooth due to exploria and I would definitely recommend everyone interested in travelling to consult them for a complete planned tour package. P.S. My personal favourite hotel out of the entire trip has been AMBIANCE. Their room, services and food was definitely the best in town. Highly recommend them for a luxurious stay and dining experience.

Fantastic experience, had great flexibility to accommodate situation and customer requirements. We were sick and had to change plan. The guide and driver was the same person with great experience and helped us prevent scams. Had a wonderful and memorable time in Pakistan
- by Sanantip PThe tour to Hunza Valley and Gojal Valley was really fantastic. Beautiful landscape, very well tailored program, guide and driver with good knowledge of the area what enhanced our experience there and both english speaking, very good hotels. Additionally Crossroads Adventures organized a tour at Lahore and region what was another very good experience visiting almost all historical sites, bazaars, the modern area and the traditional show at the border Pakistan / India.

I booked 12 days tour Lahore, Islamabad, Hunza & Skardu Pakistan with Rock Valley tours and it was excellent from start to finish. My experience was great greetings to Hameed tour guide and our “pilot” driver Umar.
- by DUNJA RIBARICThe Lahore tour was excellent. The guide was responsive to emails prior to travel and very helpful. He and the driver did everything possible to offer attractions, info and accommodations when issues arose. I would recommend Rock Valley Tours to anyone traveling in Pakistan.

This trip was beyond my expectations. A proper adventure. The rugged landscape of Northern Pakistan is stunning. The mountains rise steeply from the green valleys and there always seems to be a churning river below the twisting roads. The people of Pakistan are welcoming and very friendly. The local guides and jeep drivers were excellent. Knowledgeable and competent. My fellow travellers on this tour were a great bunch. A good laugh. This is not an easy trip. Prepare yourself for some long days of bumpy travel. Also, expect the unexpected. The rewards though are great. So many memories.
- by Michael SaundersThe huge landscapes, getting close to big mountains without having to walk for a week, the power of the rivers, picnic lunches in scenic locations, and the friendliness of the Pakistani people.

Overall great tour with very helpful and accommodating operators. Frequently checked in with us personally. Only thing to be aware of is if the weather does not cooperate, be prepared to travel by road on KKH which is a great experience but can be a little difficult.
- by Sehrish JamotGreat tour team. Everything was on point from pick up to drop off. Tour guides have lots of knowledge about the place and great food places. Will definitely recommend to others.

An ideal travel itinerary for exploring the Hunza Valley. The itinerary they provided was the perfect blend of exploration and relaxation. It covered all the must-see spots in the Hunza Valley, ensuring that we didn't miss a single breathtaking view or cultural gem.

If you are looking for somewhere off the beaten track and gorgeous scenery then this is somewhere that you probably wouldn't have considered but it is highly recommended. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous and the people were very friendly and inquisitive everywhere we went. For some looking at the destination there might be some trepidation concerning safety issues but no once did I feel unsafe.
- by IanMcCormickIt came as a surprise that it was only the two of us on our group tour, and we would have appreciated knowing beforehand that no one else had booked the tour. That said we quickly got used to it and found it quite the priviledge. I was very pleased with our guide Islam and our driver Karim who did a superb job at making it a memorable trip. If I were to make a recommendations it would be to have some more information from day to day about what to expect the day ahead fx. what shoes to wear, warm clothes to leave out or packing a day pack with extra clothes for Fairy Meadows. I would also have found it very convenient to know there would be five days (Naran to Skardu) with neither telephone or net, only to have the chance to tell family at home I wouldn't be reachable and not to be concerned. The hotels met our expectations, but we did find on several occasions that the beds had been made, but the sheets not changed, and we had to ask for clean sheets. I would recommend to put on the packing list a sheet, fx. the one you can buy for inside a sleeping bag. I loved the itiniary and the open jeep. The mountains were breathtaking and the roads equally so, but for different reasons;-) Islam was especially good in the mountains, he knows the mountains so well, and it felt very safe to hike with him. And making it to Nanga Parpat basecamp was one of the best days.
