I am a mature, solo, self guided traveller who travels globally. This is the very first time I have booked a group tour. I researched doing so and was fortunate to find G Adventures. I am just back from a week long South African safari. I can find no fault in the time I spent interactivng with this company. From the very first communications, which were always prompt and helpful to the last breakfast on the day we ended in J-burg, the organization and intinerary of the trip was excellent. I was very fortunate, being a more mature person, my group was composed of 8 lovely, younger folk. They were a delight! The accomodation and meals presented were also very good. The guide Bev and the driver and another guide were an terrific team as we drove countless hundreds of kms searching for the animals. G Adventures can not guarantee when and if you will see these magical creatures. However we lucked out and saw many many animals in their natural habitat. The value for the money spent was very good...and more than competitive. I can not recommend this tour or group more than a 5, if I could I would. Thank you G Adventures

Just returned after the " the big 5 in South Africa" tour. Well organized and good itinerary. The support was excellent when needed .Thanks to Penny, Rose, Amanda for the excellent arrangements, professional support and daily updates which helped us to enjoy the tour. The guide and driver Abdella was very professional and made the 1000 km drive comfortable and safe.The vehicle provided was comfortable. The hotels were good, clean and comfortable . Suggest the second night stay at Knysna can be changed to Oudtshoorn or George to avoid 2hour drive. Definitely recommand this tour. Antony Thoppil
