It was amazing! I would take a tour with MacBackpackers any day. Our tour guide is the greatest driver and story teller I've seen (it's a shame I don't remember her name. But it's the girl who likes to dye her her with cool colors). It was super well planned. Time management was impecable, the choosing of the places we went was spectacular and also the recommendations of where to eat, shop etc.

"The only let down was when the coach left the tour, and taxis and trains with the luggage was a struggle. Hotel selection, excursions, and guide were all first class. Had a very uncomfortable trip up to Glasgow, coach had no cooling, arrived ridiculously late, no arrangements regarding food, from time of meeting at 16.30 until breakfast the next morning.

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this, our first-ever bus tour. Our guide Chloe provided lots of historical, geographic, and cultural information through running commentary during our drives and at each of our stops. Her delivery was delightful and spirited, and she responded to our many questions with enthusiasm. At times the road noise made hearing her difficult, but Chloe turned up the volume when we let her know. We are in our 70's and were concerned about slowing the group down, but Chloe was able to accommodate me without impairing the others. The accommodations were quite comfortable and the breakfast yummy. We plan to take another tour soon.
