Our guide Chloe provided lots of historical, geographic, and cultural information through running commentary during our drives and at each of our stops. Her delivery was delightful and spirited, and she responded to our many questions with enthusiasm. At times the road noise made hearing her difficult, but Chloe turned up the volume when we let her know. We are in our 70's and were concerned about slowing the group down, but Chloe was able to accommodate me without impairing the others. Murray, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and funny - we particularly liked his stories about where certain sayings had come from - all Scottish, of course!. We felt we had long enough at all the stops because we had a lot to fit in and it would have been sad to have missed any of them. We saw some absolutely spectacular landscape and some fantatsic historical sites. The B and B provided in Inverness was good and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. Our only small criticicm would be that the lunch stop on the second day could have been more inspired. However, we understand that the whole tour had to be re-jigged due to a big accident on day 1. Trip date: June 2024 - MVMichele· June 24th, 2024The tour guide, Neal, was excellent. Stops were just that...very short and not time enough to actually peruse the sites. The lodging was absolutely the most horrible experience ever! The Coos B & B was extremely impersonal. I did not get breakfast because my email and wifi didn't work. I got the order in at 7:03 pm and misspelled the email address we were to send the order to. I forwarded the original email to Andrea but he said I didn't follow proper procedure for ordering. He said I could get what's left of the continental breakfast at 8:30 but we had to leave at 8:40. Times allowed in some places were far too short.
