What people love about Poland Tours
- Highlights of Poland (Classic, 10 Days)
The trip was great. All the things we saw were awesome. Poland is a lovely country. The hotels were all 4 or 5 star -- very nice. And the coach was excellent -- with 2 doors for more efficient boarding, and a toliet for emergencies. The guides were great too.
- Krakow, Auschwitz & Wieliczka Salt Mine - 4 Days
The tour was a great time we spent with a group of friends from the UK, we visited the old town. A guide was happy to answer questions and the time passed very quickly - I recommend.
- Krakow, Auschwitz, Enamel Factory & Wieliczka Salt Mine - 4 Days
We did the group tour with Seweryn around the Jewish quarter and I can fully recommend him as very informative and funny guide!

Take in the picturesque landscapes and remarkable sights on a guided Coach / Bus adventure of Poland. There are 7 vacation packages to choose from, that range in length from 7 days up to 12 days. The most popular month for these tours is July.
See all Coach / Bus toursFor explorers seeking the heart of Poland, our most popular routes combine Krakow's Old Town with ventures into the Wieliczka Salt Mine's underground chambers. These tours take you through an amazing network of tunnels descending 327 meters below ground, where you'll find intricate salt sculptures and vast halls carved over centuries. Many tours connect Warsaw and Gdansk via comfortable train journeys, letting you experience Poland's rebuilt capital before heading to the distinctive maritime culture of the Baltic coast. The most comprehensive explorer routes include visits to Malbork Castle and time in the Jewish Quarter, where local guides share family stories that bring the neighborhood's complex history to life. Our travelers particularly value the mix of guided tours and free time to wander through places like Wawel Castle and the Main Market Square at their own pace.

Looking at customer feedback over the past year, Explore and Cosmos stand out as solid choices for guided European tours. Explore's guides like Justyna and Alexandria consistently get mentioned for going above and beyond - they know their history cold and adapt the pace to match each group's interests. Cosmos delivers good value for your money and their guide Kasia keeps getting praised in reviews for making local culture come alive through her stories and personal insights. Our travelers appreciate how she handles the practical details while keeping everyone engaged and comfortable. Euroadventures has more of a mixed track record lately. While some groups had great experiences, others ran into frustrating communication gaps - like last-minute schedule changes or confusion about meeting points. Their group sizes also tend to vary quite a bit which affects how smoothly things run day to day. If you're looking for reliability and well-planned itineraries, I'd lean toward either Explore or Cosmos based on what our customers consistently report. The guides make a huge difference and both companies seem to have a good system for selecting and training them. Their groups stay at a manageable size and the logistics generally run like clockwork.

"Amazing tour guide, Judith, and incredible driver Dom made our tour an unforgettable experience. They were energetic and truly cared for each person on our tour, showed us some amazing sights, and connected us with local guides for many of the excursions. Vienna, Prague, Krakow and Budapest were awesome cities with far too much to take in. We will be back. Auschwitz was a somber, humbling and life changing experience. It is unimaginable what went on there and to see it in person, you feel the weight of the souls lost there. Overall, a fantastic tour that teased us enough to know we will be back!!

Best places to start your Poland tour
Most visitors kick off their Polish adventure in Krakow, with Warsaw coming in as the second most common starting point. Berlin, Copenhagen and also Gdansk work well as entry cities too, though they're picked less often. For the best shot at getting your preferred dates, book about 2.5 months out - that's 73 days if you want to be precise. This is particularly true in busy periods when popular itineraries tend to fill up fast. Summer brings warm weather and lively events like St. Dominic's Fair in Gdansk from June through August. Spring and fall are really pleasant too - think April-May or September-October - with fewer tourists around the historical sites. Winter has its own charm with Christmas markets and snow-covered cities, but just keep in mind some attractions might run shorter hours.
Discover Poland tours for every budget
Train travel connects the highlights of Poland nicely on our week-long budget tours. You'll move from Krakow to Warsaw and up to Gdansk, getting the most out of each stop without overspending. The walking tours cover Krakow's Old Town and Wawel Castle, and you can add on trips to places like the Wieliczka Salt Mine if you're interested. We've found our travelers really like having structured morning activities and then free afternoons and evenings to wander, find local cafes and pick their own restaurants. Warsaw's rebuilt Old Town and Royal Route are part of the guided portions, while Gdansk gives you time in the historic shipyards and medieval center. You'll stay in comfortable 3-star hotels close to everything, with breakfast included each day.
Our upscale 10-day Poland circuit really shines when it comes to thoughtful touches and excellent hotels. You'll stay in 4 and 5-star properties while taking in Poland's main sites at an unhurried pace. The special experiences make these tours stand out - like dinner at Warsaw's Restaurant Gospoda Kwiaty Polskie and seafood specialties in Gdansk. Up in Zakopane, you'll spend an evening with Goral Highlanders enjoying their music and food, while in Toruń you can watch local artisans make traditional gingerbread. Our customers particularly value the local experts who join the tour - they really know their history and culture. The coaches are properly equipped too, with onboard toilets and two doors for easy getting on and off.

Most trips swing through Poznań and Toruń, where our travelers get hands-on making traditional gingerbread and exploring streets that UNESCO recognized for their medieval charm. Solo travelers exploring Poland can take advantage of our solid Krakow-based routes that work really well for independent spirits. You'll appreciate the genuine local experts who lead walking tours through the Jewish Quarter - their personal anecdotes and deep historical knowledge make a real difference according to our travelers. The days flow nicely with guided morning visits to Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Wieliczka Salt Mines, followed by free afternoons to do your own thing. Many people enjoy taking the train between Warsaw, Gdansk and Krakow; it's a relaxed way to see the country. When evening comes, the guides arrange optional group dinners where you can meet other travelers and try authentic Polish dishes.
Our 10-day Poland circuit really hits the sweet spot for couples looking to experience the country properly. You'll enjoy special touches like traditional Highland dinners with Goral folk music in Zakopane and intimate Chopin concerts in Warsaw. The pace works well - there's guided time exploring places like Wroclaw's historic center, then plenty of free moments to wander Krakow's Market Square together. We've picked lovely 4 and 5-star hotels in just the right spots for evening walks and finding good local restaurants. The route takes in some real gems like the massive medieval Malbork Castle and Toruń's beautifully preserved Old Town, which is UNESCO listed.
Young travelers in their 20s and 30s often pick our shorter 4-7 day tours centered on Krakow, where the fantastic nightlife meets rich history. Days include guided visits to Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Wieliczka Salt Mine, while evenings are free to explore Krakow's incredible pub scene - there's actually one of the highest concentrations of bars per capita worldwide. The walking tours through Kazimierz district really resonate with this group, as you'll find historic synagogues next to cool cafes, vintage shops and also street art.
The 10-day comprehensive Poland tours consistently get great feedback from our senior travelers. The pace stays comfortable while covering all the key sites, with plenty of rest stops built in. Hotels are picked for their central locations to keep walking distances manageable. Our guides bring Poland's complex history to life at places like the Warsaw Rising Museum and Malbork Castle, which our older travelers particularly value. Several guests over 70 have mentioned that while sites like the Salt Mine involve quite a bit of walking, the regular breaks and optional activities make it totally doable.
Families with kids really connect with our city-hopping Poland tours. The gnome-spotting walks in Wrocław are a huge hit - children love searching for the 120+ bronze figures hidden around the old town. Kids get totally absorbed by the underground chambers and salt sculptures at Wieliczka Salt Mine, while the hands-on activities at Warsaw's Copernicus Science Centre keep them engaged for hours. Our family groups particularly enjoy the gingerbread-making workshops in Toruń where everyone gets to create their own treats. We've picked hotels near main squares so families can easily pop back for breaks, and the daily pace leaves room for downtime when needed.

Fall colors make our countryside and city combinations particularly appealing. The 7-day tours through southern Poland work really well in autumn, when you can combine visits to Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Salt Mines with walks through Krakow's parks as the leaves change.
