- Enchanting Prague
Hello I enjoyed my stay in Prague from November 29 to December 12 , 2015. Effective transfers , we were staying at the hotel Beranek which was very well located, friendly and knowledgeable English speaking guide . Little boubou, no one in the group had realized that the tour wasn't taking us back to the hotel after the city tour, it would be good to specify ; the general view , left without plans in the heart of the tourist area 30 minutes from the hotel was not too pleasant but we made the best out of it and we went to enjoy an amazing diner on a terrasse.... Yes yes a Terrasse in December! They are very well organised since they are heated up all through winter. We also took our time to enjoy the Christmas Market. During ou stay we took the additional tour for the Karlstejn Castle... one word WOWWW! I still recommend without hesitation at all this trip, especially at this price . Prague is beautiful , I have traveled a lot ( more than 25 countries ... so far! ), It is definitely in my top five . I Also took the extension for Vienna (Hotel Beim Theresianum 3*) and Budapest (Hotel Sissi 3*), both cities are must sees while you are there minus well to the whole thing! Thank you we are definitely booking again with Wingbuddy!

Prague forms the centerpiece of Bohemian tours, where our travelers love exploring the grand Prague Castle with its mix of Gothic and Baroque architecture. Many guests tell us their favorite moments include early morning walks across the Charles Bridge and getting lost in the Old Town's maze of cobblestone streets. While Prague pulls most visitors in, we've found that the Bohemian countryside offers something special - peaceful rolling hills, historic castles and authentic small towns where you can really connect with local Czech life. The rivers run crystal-clear through places like Český Krumlov, and Bohemian Switzerland National Park gives photographers and hikers plenty of dramatic landscapes to explore. It's a nice balance of cultural discoveries and outdoor activities that keeps bringing people back.
See all Bohemia toursTaking a boat tour along the Danube really shows you Budapest and Prague from a fresh angle - our travelers keep telling us it's their favorite part of exploring Central Europe. You'll drift past grand parliament buildings and old bridges while guides share stories about how these cities grew up along the river. Prague's got something special going on underground too, with all these tunnels and chambers running beneath the Old Town. Though lately we've noticed more of our customers going for guided tours of Prague Castle instead - and you can see why, since it's actually the world's largest ancient castle complex. Doing both the river cruise and castle tour gives you this nice mix of seeing the cities from water level and up high.

Prague works perfectly as your base for exploring the Czech Republic, with several well-planned routes branching out to places like Český Krumlov and Karlovy Vary. Our 5-day circuit mixes guided walks with plenty of free time, which our travelers really appreciate. You'll start early at Prague Castle before the tourist rush, then use hop-on-hop-off transport to discover the Jewish Quarter and Malá Strana whenever suits you. A full day in Český Krumlov lets you take in Europe's largest castle complex at your own pace. Many of our guests also love heading to Karlovy Vary, where you can try the natural springs and take a quick funicular ride up to Diana Watchtower for some excellent valley views.

Top operators in Czech Republic
Based on what our travelers tell us, UTracks really stands out for their bike trips - they've got the routes dialed in perfectly and employ guides who know every bend in the road. Over in Czechia, there's this fantastic operator called Czechia Tours running intimate small group experiences. Their guides Marek and Filip lead the Moravian UNESCO Heritage Sites tour and you can tell they absolutely love sharing their country's culture. What makes these tours work so well is how personal they feel. The UTracks cycling routes take you through some excellent countryside without being overwhelming, while Czechia Tours keeps their groups small and manageable. Marek and Filip have this way of bringing Czech history and traditions to life - our travelers often mention how their enthusiasm makes the whole experience feel less like a standard tour and more like exploring with knowledgeable friends. It's refreshing to hear how both companies focus on quality over quantity. The guides don't just recite facts but share stories, local insights and have those little insider tips that make such a difference. They know exactly when to give background information and when to let travelers simply soak in the surroundings.

"My recent tour with Czechia-Tours exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Czech Republic was an excellent experience. From start to finish, the tour was well-organized, insightful and immersive. The itinerary took us through Prague and some of the Czech Republic's most breathtaking sites, from the historic charm of Český Krumlov to the beautiful countryside drives. Each location felt like a step back in time, made all the more captivating by our knowledgeable guide, who provided fascinating historical insights and was always ready to answer questions. It was a good mix of urban and country experiences. I was also guided well about how to navigate the excellent public transport system in Prague on my own. What I particularly appreciated about Czechia-Tours was their attention to detail. Every aspect of the tour—from transportation and accommodation to vegetarian meal recommendations and free time for personal exploration—was thoughtfully planned to make the journey smooth and enjoyable. They made sure I had ample time to soak in each site's beauty without feeling rushed, which made the experience much more fulfilling. Our conversations during the long drives were also very informative. Czechia-Tours goes above and beyond to make sure their guests feel well-cared for, and I left each destination with a deeper appreciation for Czech history, culture, and architecture. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the Czech Republic in an enriching, stress-free way. Thank you, Filip and Marek from Czechia-Tours, for a trip that I will cherish for years to come!

"We had an overall great time, with a couple of hiccups. The driver who was supposed to pick us up at the airport left without and the company refused to reimburse us for the taxi. The hotel in Vienna was worse than a youth hostel forcing us to move to the Hilton, thank God for my points. The tours arranged were very good and other than the two issues raised everything else was great.
