Jared Worsteling

"Hey all, my name is Jared and I'm an Australian with Irish, Dutch and Italian roots, who fell in love with travel when my parents dragged my 10 year old, ungrateful backside around the globe. Once I was old enough I set off on an adventure to see as much as I could around the world and I feel I've given it a fair shake so far. Since leaving high school I've lived/worked/studied in places like Berlin, San Francisco, Valencia, Seoul, Banff, Exeter and travelled to around 50 countries worldwide, but my heart belongs in Europe. Since 2017, I've been guiding for Topdeck Travel throughout the continent and trying to become as much of a local as I can. People often ask me, do you not get sick of visiting these cities? Well the answer is an emphatic NO! Even if I've visited a place many times, I will never grow tired of the look of wonder when people see famous sights for the first time or the pure astonishment when I tell people an interesting fact that they had no idea about. My main goal as a guide is to help people discover a similar passion as I have for a certain city or country and to help them to understand why that place it is the way it is. Oh and I love making a whole bunch of new friends along the way!"
