What people love about Bangladesh Tours
- Experience Bangladesh through Thrilling Adventures & Lifestyles
This is the perfect tour to visit Bangladesh if you just have a few days in your itinerary. Bangladesh is a fascinating country to explore and you can obtain a visa on arrival. On my first day in the capitals, I really enjoyed exploring old Dhaka and see how the local people carry out their daily life activities. The next day, I spent a good time leaning about the history of the country at the Liberation War Museum. My second destination was Cox’s Bazar, my favorite city of the tour. If you visit this city you have to explore the fish market and the dry fish processing areas in Nazirartek. Experiencing a deep sea fishing trip and parasailing was really unforgettable. Restaurants serve good foods and the prices are so cheap. Modhu Tours and my guide Imran organized the whole trip made sure I was taken care of from the moment I arrived at the airport to the moment I was dropped back at the airport. As a guide, Imran was very kind, professional and always on time. He was very friendly and helpful and wanted to make sure all my needs were being met. He explained to me all about the country, the people and the culture. I highly recommend this tour because I had a wonder experience. Than you do much for this !!!
- Discover Ancient North in Bangladesh
It was a unique way to discover the history, see the lush greenery, meet locals, and have a trip around Bangladesh. Everything was taken care of and thought out. If you needed a bottle of water, just had to ask, if needed a rest stop, just had to mention it.

What our customers ask about Bangladesh Tours & Trips
Is Bangladesh safe for solo travelers?
Look, Bangladesh is pretty safe especially if you stick to the main tourist routes like Dhaka-Sylhet-Chittagong. You'll definitely want local guides though not just for safety but they're super helpful with the tricky local transport and getting into restricted areas like the tribal regions in Chittagong Hill Tracts. If you're a female traveler it's worth getting a female guide particularly outside Dhaka where things are more conservative. The tea gardens in Srimangal and those amazing heritage sites like Somapura Mahavihara are really safe to explore on your own during the day.
What's the best time to visit Bangladesh?
November to February is when you want to be here temperatures are perfect around 15-25°C with hardly any rain - it's ideal for Sundarbans safaris and heritage tours. March to May gets pretty hot up to 40°C but that's actually great for visiting hill stations like Rangamati. The monsoon hits June to October which makes getting around the rivers a bit tricky but you get some really unique experiences like the Vimruli Floating Guava Market running July through September. For wildlife spotting head to Lawachara National Park in winter and you'll catch amazing migratory birds at Tanguar Haor.
What are the must-visit destinations in Bangladesh?
Beyond the obvious spots like Cox's Bazar and Sundarbans you've got to check out the UNESCO Buddhist Vihara ruins in Paharpur these incredible terracotta temples in Puthia and the historic mosque city of Bagerhat. The Chittagong Hill Tracts are fascinating with authentic tribal experiences among the Chakma Marma and Tripura peoples. Don't miss Barisal's floating markets they run Saturdays and Tuesdays at Boithakata it's real riverine life right there. And Srimangal well the seven-layer tea and ancient tea estates are experiences you won't find anywhere else.
What unique local experiences should I try?
You've got to take a rickshaw through Dhaka's old city and explore Shakhari Bazaar where they still make traditional conch shell bangles. The world's largest shipbreaking yard in Chittagong is incredible you can see it from Kumira. Experience the morning buzz at Sadarghat River Port watch traditional Jamdani weaving happening in Rupshi village and definitely try Chittagong's mezban feast. Over in Lawachara Rainforest you might spot rare Hoolock Gibbons and these massive butterflies with 6-8 inch wingspans they're some of the world's largest.
How do I get around Bangladesh?
There's more than just rickshaws and buses here water transport is huge from modern ships with AC cabins between major river ports to little country boats in the Sundarbans. Domestic flights connect the big cities like Dhaka to Cox's Bazar in an hour instead of a 12-hour road trip. The trains are actually really scenic especially the Dhaka-Rajshahi line through the farming regions. For the Sundarbans they use these special eco-friendly boats without AC which actually works better for spotting wildlife.
