What people love about Self Drive Tours in New Zealand
- Southern Icons - 9 Day Self Drive Tour
Accommodation was great and staff were really friendly. No issues with checking in. Suggestions were helpful. It would be nice to see some not so touristy location like Glenorchy included in the suggestion.
- Southern Lakes (with TranzAlpine) - 6 Day Self Drive Tour
Very good selection and to cover the South Island in the shortest possible time, by far an excellent tour. However, it felt like too much driving and not enough relaxation. Car rental company charged the credit card in addition, even though we filled up before drop off and provided no receipt, invoice, email. This is unethical and shadows the whole experience. The organizers, absolutely fantastic. A lot of work to change the accommodations booking to twin beds and excellent communication - they are the best. Most likely will use the company again.
- West Coast Explorer (with TranzAlpine) - 3 Day Self Drive Tour
Excellent tour and especially enjoyed the guided tour from Franz Joseph
