- Highlights of Jordan
The itinerary was great, and included a good variety of activities - although a few more optional cultural ones would have been appreciated. The tour leader was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable, willing to discuss any subject (including the local delicate situation). He managed the time well, and kep us well informed. I do have an issue with G-Adventures tipping approach though (I've been on 2 trips with them this year). It doesn't feel like tipping. The amount is very high and on this trip we were asked to pay more than pre-advised because we were low in number (4). This clearly means the tips are used as a form of income. There is no transparency about it either. It will put me off using them again.

Great tour to have a quick experience of Jordan, if you get Hisham as your guide your will be very lucky, He is very knowledgeable, well organized, very motivated, and hardworking & show you all the hidden gems. I have travelled a lot with so many tour groups but intrepid you are my new favourite! Would suggest putting more time into Petra as we do not get to experience it completely.

"Amazing tour. Tour guide was informative and knowledgeable. The itinerary was good although could be a bit rush if tour members are not fit enough to walk around. Wadi rum is otherworldly, probably could stay 3-4 days even.

"About the Egypt part of the tour I had an incredible experience with Remon during my trip to Egypt. From the very start, it was clear that he is not just knowledgeable but truly passionate about sharing the rich history and culture of his country. He took the time to explain everything in detail, offering fascinating cultural tidbits that added so much depth to the tour. He also helped me navigate local pricing, which was invaluable. As someone with a severe food allergy, I was initially concerned about dining during my trip, but Remon went above and beyond to ensure I always had safe and delicious options at every venue. His attentiveness made a potentially stressful situation completely seamless. What I appreciated most were his recommendations and optional tours—each one was thoughtfully chosen and added something unique to the experience. He’s respectful and caring, almost like a dad, which made me feel incredibly safe throughout the journey. If you’re looking for a tour guide in Egypt who is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your experience, I cannot recommend Remon highly enough. This was a trip to remember, and he played a big part in making it so special. About the Jordan part of the tour there Is a lot of room for improvement, Jordan is a beautiful country but the tour itinerary and the tour guide wasn't as good as the one in Egypt. More than once I felt uncomfortable and rushing without the option of enjoying our stops.
