Reviews of 7 day Bicycle Tours
- Cambodia Bike Tour
Great cycling trip from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and highly recommend this tour. We took a cycling tour through Cambodia in December. We cycled past villages and rice fields, down dirt roads and local paths, well off the usual route. On our break days, we ate great local, fresh food and went to several fascinating places. Bo is an excellent tour guide who is knowledgeable and dedicated to making a positive impact on the areas we visit. He truly enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for this part of the country. I would like to thank you for the exceptional accommodation, food, tour guide, and planning that we received during our trip. We really made it so we could enjoy everything and we will never forget the memories we made there.

We're a group of 6 Australians guys taking this motorbike trip with this company. It's really an awesome trip in our life. We were arranged all new Honda CRF 250cc & staying at the local families in the Northern Vietnam with the hill tribes. Our guide took us to so many unspoiled destinations where we can discover beautiful landscapes. Foods were so amazing with all local tastes. In general, all services provided on the tour are so fabulous and flawless and highly recommend this tour to everyone. We'll use them again for other trips
- Saigon to Hoi An Bike Tour
Great fun, Tung the driver being very experienced and knowledgeable and Duong oue enthusiastic guide. Enjoyed great rides, the descent from the pass near Dalat for 30km to the Nha Trang hinterland being outstanding. Got to see small village Vietnam and enjoy meals at local restaurants. Great experience.
What our customers ask about 7 Day Cycling Tours & Bike Trips
What type of accommodations can I expect on a 7-day bicycle tour?
You'll stay in comfortable 3-4 star hotels and local guesthouses picked for their unique character. Take Croatia's Dalmatian Coast tour - you get to stay right in the historic centers at places like Villa Nora in Hvar and Hotel Fabris in Korčula. In Spain, one of the highlights is spending a night in a beautifully restored 16th-century monastery in Caravaca de la Cruz. Other travelers on TourRadar often mention how much they enjoy these places because they offer a perfect mix of comfort and local flavor.
What's the best time of year for a 7-day bicycle tour?
It really depends on where you're going. Spain's Murcia region is great year-round with over 320 sunny days each year. For Croatia's Dalmatian Coast, plan your trip between April and October - September is particularly nice with temperatures around 75°F (24°C). If you're heading to New Zealand's Alps to Ocean route, you'll want to go from October to April during their warm season. Just remember to check the specific weather patterns for your chosen destination before booking.
What type of terrain can I expect on a 7-day bicycle tour?
The roads and paths vary a lot depending on where you're cycling. In Vietnam's Mekong Delta, you'll be on flat country roads passing rice fields. Ecuador offers more of a challenge with both paved roads and dirt trails through the mountains. One TourRadar traveler described their Mekong Delta experience as "peaceful rides along rivers and through villages," while another talked about an exciting "descent through cloud forests" in Ecuador. Most tours mix it up with different surfaces, and you'll usually cover between 22-43 miles (35-70km) each day.
How many hours of cycling should I expect each day?
You'll usually spend 4-6 hours on your bike each day, with plenty of stops along the way. In Vietnam's Mekong Delta, you'll cover about 28-34 miles (45-55km) daily, stopping at villages and markets as you go. The Ecuador Andes tour adjusts riding time based on the mountains and altitude. Don't worry if you need a break - there's always a support vehicle nearby, and other TourRadar travelers say they liked being able to ride at their own pace.
What's included in bike rental and support on these tours?
The tours provide quality mountain or hybrid bikes, helmets, and a support vehicle. For example, Adventure South gives you Trek bikes with front suspension and Shimano parts. Groups larger than 8 people get two guides. The support van carries your bags, spare parts, water, and snacks - plus it's there if you want to take a break from riding. One TourRadar traveler on the Croatia tour said: "The bikes were essentially brand new, and we had excellent mechanical support throughout with a van always nearby if needed."
