What people love about Egypt Tours for Young Adults
- Delve Deep: Egypt
It was the best tour I have ever been on. Tourguide Will (Waleed) was our tour guide and from day 1 he made us feel welcome and always put what we wanted to do first. He went out of his way to accommodate what we wanted to do as a group (even when the schedule was tight!) and never complained. He's the kindest man you could ever meet. The tour itself was amazing. Saw so many sights in such a short space of time. Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Sambel, Kom Obu.... the list is endless! Figured out I traveled by train, walked, camel, sail boat, ferry boat, felucca, minibus, coach and swam over the 9 days of the tour. And the people on it were so amazing, friends for life! If I could still be there... I would be! 100% recommend this to anyone even slightly interested!
- Egypt and the Nile (Winter, Classic, 8 Days)
Loved it! This trip was incredible! Firstly from my tour guide - Sherif such an amazing guide, so knowledgeable! He made the trip even better! To the number of things that you do in the short period of time, which was pretty crammed but definitely worth it seeing all the main sights. From catching an overnight train from Cairo - Aswan to cruising the Nile. The trip was amazing - Pyramids, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, local villages & so so many more things to see. Before I went to Egypt I had no idea what to expect, but going on this trip was incredible and would 10/10 recommend for anyone whos looking to go to Egypt!
- Egypt: Boats & Bazaars
This trip was amazing - the right amount of historical sightseeings and great cultural experience (especially food!). I loved the meals in families' houses, the temples, the markets and other experiences, such as the hot air balloon and the camel ride. I'd definitely recommend this tour and Egypt. Our CEO, Mudi, ensured we had the time of our life on this trip!
What our customers ask about Egypt Tours for Young Adults
What type of accommodation can I expect on an Egypt tour?
Travelers stay in comfortable 4 and 5-star hotels, such as the Helnan Hotel in Aswan, which offers modern amenities and river views. A unique highlight includes one or two nights aboard a traditional Felucca boat on the Nile, where guests sleep under open skies on cushioned deck spaces. Room sharing is the standard arrangement, though private rooms are available for an extra cost.
How safe is Egypt for young solo travelers?
Egypt proves consistently secure for visitors on organized tours. Local guides stay with groups throughout the journey, offering guidance on local customs and helping navigate busy areas. Accommodations are in well-established hotels in safe areas, such as The Oasis Hotel Pyramids in Cairo and the Steigenberger Hotel in Luxor, both located in tourist-friendly districts with 24-hour security.
How much spending money should I budget for an Egypt tour?
Daily expenses average $35-40 for meals not included in tour packages. Site entrance fees total approximately $250-300. Optional experiences add to costs: a sunrise balloon ride over Luxor costs $124, while a day trip to Abu Simbel runs $120. These figures help travelers plan for about $500-600 in total extra spending.
What are the must-do activities for young travelers in Egypt?
Essential experiences include drifting down the Nile on a traditional Felucca, floating above Luxor Valley at sunrise in a hot air balloon, walking among the Pyramids of Giza, and swimming in the clear waters of the Red Sea. A local Nubian dinner ($32) lets travelers eat with families in their homes, offering authentic Egyptian hospitality.
What's the best time of year for young adults to visit Egypt?
October through March brings pleasant temperatures between 70-80°F (21-27°C), perfect for exploring archaeological sites and outdoor activities. Summer temperatures can reach 100°F (38°C), making sightseeing less comfortable and requiring early morning starts for outdoor activities.
What's the best way to meet other young travelers in Egypt?
Group tours typically host 30-40 travelers, creating natural opportunities for friendships. The highlight for social connection is the Felucca boat journey, where 2-3 days of shared meals, swimming stops, and sunset watching along the Nile create lasting bonds between travelers.
