What people love about touring Karnataka solo
- Karnataka Highlights
Good hotels and guides and best part no stress and headache of planning it myself. I will definitely do this more often!
- Kabini & Nagarhole and Bandipur Wildlife SafariTour All inclusive
Have No option Without to go on a Kabini & Nagarhole and Bandipur Wildlife Safari Tour and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The entire tour was an all-inclusive package, which made it hassle-free and convenient. The first stop on the tour was Kabini, known for its picturesque backwaters and abundant wildlife. We stayed at a beautiful resort situated right by the Kabini River. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The highlight of our stay here was the evening safari in the Nagarhole National Park. Our guide was knowledgeable and took us to spots where we could spot a variety of animals such as elephants, deer, wild boars, and even a few tigers. It was a thrilling experience and we were lucky enough to witness a tiger hunting its prey. The next stop was Nagarhole, another popular wildlife destination. We stayed at a cozy jungle lodge, surrounded by lush greenery. The highlight of this leg of the tour was the morning safari. We saw a wide range of birds and animals, including a family of sloth bears and a herd of gaur. The safari also included a visit to a nearby tribal village, where we got a glimpse into the traditional way of life. The final destination on the tour was Bandipur National Park, known for its rich biodiversity. We stayed at a luxurious resort with stunning views of the forest. The evening safari here was equally exciting, with sightings of leopards, wild dogs, and various species of birds. We also got the chance to go on a nature walk and a boat ride in the Kabini River, which added even more charm to the experience. One of the best things about this tour was the all-inclusive package. It included all meals, accommodation, and safari fees, making it a hassle-free and budget-friendly option. The tour guides were also very knowledgeable and ensured that we had a safe and enjoyable experience. Overall, the Kabini & Nagarhole and Bandipur Wildlife Safari Tour was a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and wildlife exploration. It's a must-do for anyone looking to get up close and personal with nature and experience the thrill of a safari. I highly recommend this tour to all nature and wildlife enthusiasts.

This is a good tour if you are interested in Hindu culture and religion as it focuses in temples and myths of the religion.
What our customers ask about Karnataka Tours for Solo Travelers
What is the typical cost of single supplements on Karnataka tours?
Single supplements for Karnataka tours typically add USD 30-50 per night to the base price based on the hotel category. The 16-day Best of Karnataka and Goa tour charges USD 40 extra per night for 3-star hotels while 5-star properties like ITC Gardenia in Bangalore cost USD 65. Some tour companies like Agora Voyages run special "no single supplement" tours in the off-peak months. A recent TourRadar review noted: "I found the single supplement reasonable compared to other destinations and the room quality was excellent at properties like the Heritage Resort in Hampi."
How easy is it to meet other travelers on Karnataka group tours?
The peak travel season from October to February brings comfortable temperatures of 20-25°C (68-77°F) and draws more visitors to Karnataka. This creates natural opportunities to connect with fellow travelers at popular sites and on group tours. The winter months of December-February work well for visiting coastal areas like Goa. Wildlife enthusiasts often gather at Nagarhole National Park between October-May. A TourRadar guest shared: "Traveling in January was perfect - comfortable weather for sightseeing and lots of other tourists to interact with at major sites like Hampi and Mysore Palace."
How much free time do solo travelers get on Karnataka tours?
Tours in Karnataka mix guided activities with independent exploration time. A typical day includes morning tours followed by 3-4 hours of personal time later in the day. Destinations like Hampi often feature full free days where you can explore ancient ruins or join optional group activities. Hotels are selected for their convenient locations that support easy independent sightseeing. As one traveler noted: "I appreciated having mornings with the group but also enough free time to wander through markets in Mysore and find quiet spots in Hampi to watch the sunset."
How safe is Karnataka for solo travelers on guided tours?
Guided tours in Karnataka provide a secure travel environment with local guides and drivers available around the clock. Well-traveled routes between Bangalore Hampi and the Western Ghats feature established hotels like Radisson Bangalore City Center in safe central areas. A TourRadar guest reported: "I felt completely safe throughout the journey from exploring Mysore Palace to wildlife safaris in Nagarhole thanks to our knowledgeable guide Krishna who was always looking out for the group."
Do Karnataka tours offer shared room options to avoid single supplements?
Many tour operators pair solo travelers of the same gender to share rooms and avoid extra charges. Places like The Heritage Resort in Badami and Krishna Palace in Hampi regularly accommodate shared arrangements. According to one traveler: "I was paired with another solo female traveler at the Lemon Tree Hotel in Bangalore - we became great friends and explored the city markets together."
What types of accommodation can solo travelers expect on Karnataka tours?
Karnataka tours feature quality hotels and resorts that cater to international travelers. In Bangalore stays include the ITC Gardenia or Lemon Tree Premier while Hampi offers the Heritage Resort or Hyatt Place. Traditional properties like the Royal Orchid Brindavan Garden in Mysore blend local character with modern comforts. Tours provide single or shared room choices with hotels picked for their prime locations and security measures. A TourRadar review stated: "The hotels were excellent and perfectly located for sightseeing making it easy to connect with other travelers in common areas."
