The sweet spot is spring (March to May) or fall (September to November) when the weather stays moderate and you won't bump into the summer tourist crowds. These months are perfect for hiking through spots like The Narrows in Zion - an actual adventure where you wade upstream between towering canyon walls. The light during these seasons creates incredible photo opportunities, especially in Antelope Canyon where sunbeams filter through the narrow passageways and also across the wider desert landscapes.

The Joint Trail to Chesler Park in Canyonlands is a real highlight - you'll weave through desert terrain and tall sandstone formations that look almost otherworldly. Over in Yosemite, we've got trails that really show off the park's best features. The Mist Trail puts you right next to Vernal and Nevada Falls, while the Four Mile Trail is a good workout leading to fantastic valley views from Sentinel Dome. Our coach tours take 12-14 days to wind their way from Los Angeles up to San Francisco, giving you plenty of time to really get to know each stop. You'll start in the buzz of Hollywood, then work your way through the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and finally up to the peaceful trails of Yosemite. The schedule strikes a nice balance - you might spend your morning with a guide around San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf, then have free time to check out Alcatraz or hop on the cable cars. Our travelers especially like having an experienced driver handle those long desert stretches and twisted Pacific Coast Highway curves while they just sit back and take in the views.
