What people love about Canadian Shield Tours
- Algonquin Log Cabin 3-Day Canoe and Hike Adventure
We had an amazing time at the Algonquin log cabin! The group was fun and got along really well. We enjoyed all the activities (paddling and hikes specially) even though the weather was not at its best. Evan and Emily were incredible guides: apart from being so nice and great entertainers they also have deep knowledge on the place and its ecosystems. Food was always delicious and the cabin itself is really cozy and comfortable. Really recommend it!
- Arctic Summer Explorer | Road to the Arctic Sea
It was an amazing adventure.. one we’ll never forget. Our guide Shungo was fantastic, so fun, entertaining us with his stories of the north and so informative. Leo, his helper was great too.. always ready to help with whatever we needed. This trip is not for the faint hearted but so worth it if you want to know more about Canada’s north, gold mining and the indigenous people.
- Arctic Winter Explorer | Ice Road to the Arctic Sea
The tour was excellent. The itinerary was excellent as was our guide Leo. Our only issue was that in Dawson City, our hotel was not serving any food or beverages. Its bar and restaurant were closed. This was because of renovations by new owners to the hotel which should have been known and remedied by our tour provider. It was not satisfactory having to look for alternatives in cold, snowy conditions,
