I couldn’t fault the whole trip the organisation was brilliant from start to finish, we got to see some of the most amazing views whilst staying with some lovely local people. Our tour guide Kamal was brilliant wanting to help where ever possible was fantastic at his job and a very nice man.

My wife and I had an amazing trekking trip in Tamang heritage and langtang valley in Nepal. We had ascension the kyanjin ri (4700m) with a beautiful view on the langtang ri, lantang lirung. Our guide Suman Tamang was very professional and he shared with us his knowledge of the Tamang community, Tamang valley and cultural. Our guide, he is a very good person as he always made sure we felt good during the trek. I think I've never heard a laugh so full of joy and sincerity, the kind of joy that give so much good feeling and when you're exhausted during your trek!

Our greatest fear before we went on this trip was that one of us would get altitude sickness. In fact, we both did. I didn't get it badly - it went over after a rest and some water. but my wife developed it badly and had to be airlifted to Kathmandu. That's when you really know when the company you booked with was good. Anyone could make walking through that amazing scenery fun, but what you really want to know is whether you will be in good hands if something goes wrong. With Bamba's local company - Base camp adventures - you are in good hands. They booked the helicopter and got us down from the mountain as quickly as they could. The hospital is fine - everyone has a room of their own, and I was even able to sleep in the same room so that my wife had a translator with her all the time. I would love to have seen more of Nepal's mountains, but I am very pleased with the service we received when everything went wrong
