- Hike through the "orchard" of South Tyrol: On the stage from Schluderns to Schlanders, you immerse yourself in the extensive fruit orchards of the region. This spectacle enchants almost all year round - but especially in spring when it blooms and in late summer and autumn when it's time to harvest.
- Magnificent apple orchards by the path side: Here it is important to enjoy it with all your senses, because the largest apple-growing area in Europe is not only a visual highlight, but also the smell is incredible!
- Hiking high above the Vinschgau with a view of the snow-covered Ortler massif: Whether the Sonnensteig or the Rablander Waalweg - the high-altitude hikes in the Vinschgau are twice as pleasant and with great views due to the many hours of sunshine.

- Leisurely cycle paths mostly along the Adige: Cycling along the second longest Italian river is an adventure in itself. You will experience a lot as a family while cycling on well-maintained cycle paths that follow the course of the river for long stretches. A special bonus is that from Merano onwards it is almost exclusively gently downhill.
- Dreamlike landscapes with wonderfully fragrant orchards and vineyards: Castles, palaces and ruins make the ride to the stage destination of Bolzano a highlight for the kids, while the parents might enjoy tasting a South Tyrolean wine. A "win-win situation"!
- South Tyrolean cuisine with hearty specialities: Regional specialities that resemble the hearty Tyrolean cuisine further north and seem more Mediterranean with every kilometre cycled south. Whether bacon, dumplings or heavenly pastries - the right wine to accompany them can be world-class in South Tyrol. Taste it for yourself!

- Bolzano: You cycle along an old railway line for about 45 kilometres from Briessanone to Bolzano. The magnificent cycle path leads through the medieval town of Chiusa. As the valley narrows, the vineyards get closer. Culture tip: Take a stroll in Bolzano. The Laubengasse, the Ötzimuseum and the Waltherplatz are definitely worth a visit.
- Vahrner See: The short stage (about 20km) to Lake Vahrner offers fantastic opportunities to enjoy the region. Take advantage of the Bressanone card for a city tour, a cable car ride or hiking experiences. The best thing about it is that you can take a cooling dip in Lake Vahrner in between.

The pearls of South Tyrol

- Swimming in the lakes of South Tyrol: In addition to the impressive mountain scenery, the crystal-clear lakes are also a must. Go ahead and take a dip - Lake Kaltern is considered the warmest bathing lake in the Alps. The Montiggler Lakes are tranquil and surrounded by forests and a marshland in a nature reserve, but are also perfect for swimming.
- Fragrant orchards: Wine and fruit growing play an important role in South Tyrol - the many hours of sunshine provide an ideal climate for this. You will come across apple trees in particular on the tour - after all, there are over 7,000 farms in the region that grow them. But be sure to try the peaches, apricots, plums and wine!
- Mediterranean lifestyle in Merano: Just a walk through the old town will make you feel the magic of this city. Stroll through Merano's Laubengasse, where you can buy souvenirs for those at home in the shops and enjoy fine cappuccino and cooling gelato in the cafés. The botanical gardens of Trautmannsdorff Castle are just as worth a visit as the Post Bridge and the thermal baths.

- Archaeological sites: Ganglegg and the Tartscher Bühel located in the Upper Val Venosta Valley region are home of the best researched hilltop settlements from the Bronze and Iron Ages.
- The Messner Mountain Museum: The entire permanent exhibition is dedicated to the myth of the mountain. Whether marvelling at the impressive collection of masks or visiting the adventure library – the museum is worth a detour.
