amazing experience. great locations. accommodation in santa catalina ould be better, but overall, much recommended. would suggest spending mo time n the Carribean side, instead of the Pacific.
I wasn’t expecting much from a “basix” tour. But maybe that’s what made it so amazing! Laura was seriously an amazing example of what a guide should be. Knowledgeable (nature, culture, language you name it!) she was super patient and fun. I loved the flexibility of being able to add on what we liked. The “downside” is that half of the group were pretty old. There was a if age gap. We grew to love them of course and it’s nothing personal but only because I luckily had a couple of other people join (phew!!) who were around my age so we hung out mostly & we could do the fun things like go for drinks etc. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to go on another intrepid tour again (esp if the other guides are anything like Laura!) Well done and thank you for an amazing trip of beautiful nature, unbelieverable scenery and fantastic cuisine Costa Rica and Panama!
