You'll love getting into Cape Verde's amazing mix of African and Portuguese culture. Join a batuku dance workshop it's this really rhythmic African-style dance that locals perform at festivals especially on Santiago island. Want to learn local cooking? Head to Mindelo in São Vicente where you can join locals making cachupa the national dish - it's this amazing hearty stew that's actually different on each island.
