When I arrived in athens Effie managed to find me and give me the tickets needed for the boat traveling and she gave me an extended overview of the tour I booked with the travel agency. All my requests were fulfilled without any questions or hustling. Effie was very helpful. Santorini was beautiful and there I had a tour organized around the island and at the end they served us what they called meze, a nice selection of a warm and cold appetizers but the fava dish was the best of all! The hotel el Greko was modern and beautiful integrated while the location couldn't be more convenient for my needs of touring the town of Fira. I couldn't recommend this experience enough, if you've done it, you know what I mean.

Overall the tour was good but I’m not sure I would do it again. We thought it would be more of a tour group rather than just signing us up for excursions we had already found before signing up for the tour and booking a couple hotel rooms. The tour guide on 4 day over night excursion, Cassandra was fantastic, however, our tour ended up being bi-lingual and it took away from the information she could’ve provided us with as she had to say two different things. It took time away from both groups as we waited to hear more where if it was a single group, even if it was smaller would’ve provided more time to see the sights. As these were excursions and anyone could sign up it took away the group factor. These excursions allowed people to book separate hotels which took away from getting to know others as a group. Was a good tour but I would probably book my own next time unless it became an actual group tour.
