The Manaslu Circuit Trek delivers magnificent mountain views that feel earned with every step, especially at Larkya La Pass where you'll see Himlung Himal, Kangguru and also Annapurna II sweeping across the skyline. What makes this route special is the natural and cultural mix - you'll walk through forests filled with cascading waterfalls while passing authentic Sherpa villages where monks still practice in centuries-old monasteries. Our travelers tell us that yes, it's physically demanding, but those mountain panoramas and real cultural connections make the effort worthwhile. You'll find fewer crowds here compared to routes like the Annapurna Circuit, which means more genuine interactions with villagers and firsthand experiences of Buddhist traditions.

Explore a wide diversity of safari tours through Himalaya Mountains. We have 90 adventures that vary from 3 days to 20 days. With the greatest number of departures in March, this is also the most popular time of the year.
See all Safari toursOur most popular Himalayan treks head to three key spots: Everest Base Camp, the Annapurna Circuit and also Annapurna Base Camp. The Everest Base Camp route runs 12-14 days, with our guides taking small groups past Sherpa villages and Buddhist monasteries along the way. Travelers tell us they really value those rest days in Namche Bazaar - it's perfect for getting used to the altitude while checking out local markets. You'll find the Annapurna Circuit offers something different at every turn - crossing the tough Thorong La pass at 5416m, walking through hidden mountain villages and exploring old temples. Our customers like how the elevation builds gradually, letting them experience different cultural areas as they go up. If you're short on time, the Poon Hill trek takes 3-4 days and gives you great mountain views without going too high up.
See all Hiking & Trekking toursOur multi-activity tours pack a lot into your Nepal trip. The popular 13-day routes kick off in Kathmandu with temple visits before heading to Chitwan National Park, where you'll go on jeep safaris looking for rhinos and tigers. TourRadar customers love mixing cultural bits like momo-making classes with active stuff - the white water rafting on the Trisuli River is always a hit. Most tours fit in a 3-day trek around Poon Hill, with early hikes to catch the sunrise over the Annapurnas and nights staying in local guesthouses. Want more action? Add some paragliding in Pokhara or bungee jumping to your trip. Our travelers say they really like having guided activities but also free time to wander around places like Bandipur's old town or join optional yoga sessions.

"The conditions (roads) in Nepal are catastrophic which spoils the vacation experience. The tour guide was in my opinion incompetent, bad knowledge of human nature and not able to assess the routes correctly. The hotels during the trek were subterranean. The tour guide himself was very helpful.

You can also kick off from Paro in Bhutan with 11 different departures, New Delhi with 4 options and also Leh with 2 tours. Looking at our booking patterns, it's smart to lock in your trip about 4 months ahead (124 days to be exact), especially if you're aiming for October-November or March-April when conditions are just right and the trails get busy. Our travelers often mention loving spring treks in March-April when rhododendrons paint the hillsides pink, while October-November brings stable weather and local festivals that add something special to the journey. The tea houses along popular routes work well for most people - they're basic but welcoming, offering that perfect mix of comfort and local character. Just remember to build in some rest days; your body needs time to adjust to the altitude for a comfortable trek.

Getting a real Himalayan experience doesn't have to break the bank. The Annapurna routes work well for budget-conscious travelers, running 13-14 days with comfortable teahouse stays along the way. Local guides who grew up in these mountains lead you through their home trails, introducing you to Gurung villages where you can learn to cook momos in family kitchens and visit centuries-old monasteries. If you've got three days, the Chitwan safaris give you good value - you'll paddle canoes and ride jeeps looking for Bengal tigers and one-horned rhinos. First-time trekkers often choose the Dhampus village routes, which serve up those mountain views without pushing too high in altitude.
The Everest Base Camp luxury lodges take trekking up a notch with proper beds, quality meals and mountain views right from your room. Bhutan's premium journeys really shine though - you'll rest in heritage buildings and boutique hotels while exploring ancient dzongs and remote mountain temples. Our clients love the special touches like private cultural shows, traditional hot stone baths and dinner with local families.
