What people love about Canada Alaska Tours
- The Canadian Rockies with Alaska Cruise
Excellent tour to enjoy nature and Canadian culture without missing the Alaska scent. Highly recommended to get in touch with the North West of the continent.
- Heart of the Canadian Rockies with Alaska Cruise
A well organised tour, fulfilling our expectations of seeing some lovely scenery and also a little wildlife e.g. bears. As for scenery, the Canadian Rockies and Alaska's Glacier Bay were highlightsfor us. Of course it helps to have good weather - going up in the gondola of Banff's sulphur mountain is recommended for views: we had good weather that day but had the views been obscured by low cloud it would have been a different matter. Altogether a great experience.
- Western Canada by Rail with Alaska Cruise
Good tour . But first section of the train ride was not good as I expected . Unable to see much beauty of Canda. Unfortunately I was unable to see any bears , beauty of Lake Louise due to weather changes . However we had experienced in beauty of winter .

Explore a wide diversity of coach / bus tours through Canada Alaska. We have 5 adventures that vary from 14 days to 31 days. With the greatest number of departures in July, this is also the most popular time of the year.
The Canadian Rockies and Alaska region offers some really well-thought-out explorer tours. Our most requested package combines mountain exploration with an Alaska cruise; it's a smart way to experience both territories properly. The Ice Explorer trips are particularly interesting - you'll ride specialized vehicles right onto the ancient Columbia Icefield glaciers. Around Lake Louise, guided heritage walks give you time to understand the early settlers' stories while looking out over the distinctive turquoise water. One of the special touches we've arranged is private access to First Nations cultural centers before they open to the public - you get to learn about indigenous traditions over breakfast without the crowds. What works well about these tours is how they balance structured activities with personal time; you might choose to take a helicopter flight over the Rockies or simply walk through old-growth forests at your own speed.
Select from our extensive range of 49 fully guided tours to enjoy a worry-free experience through Canada Alaska with our expert guides leading the way.

Small Group
5 tours in Canada AlaskaOur small-group tours through Canada and Alaska create an excellent balance of organized travel with personal attention. Customers routinely tell us how much they love the Yukon Explorer program, where groups stay small enough to properly experience watching caribou migrate across Tombstone's tundra, panning for gold in historic settlements and also exploring Dawson City. Guides like Stefan bring invaluable local expertise, positioning vehicles perfectly for safe bear viewing while sharing deep regional knowledge. The Rockies-to-Alaska route combines private morning visits to First Nations cultural centers, guided heritage walks around Lake Louise's distinctive waters and authentic wilderness experiences. What makes these tours special is how the smaller groups can access hidden spots like Kluane National Park's Auriol Trail, spend quality time observing brown bears fishing along Alaska's coast and maintain schedule flexibility throughout. By blending wilderness hikes with cultural visits in places like Skagway, Ketchikan and also traditional communities, travelers forge meaningful connections with both the dramatic landscapes and rich local heritage.

Our Alaska and Yukon tours work really well for people traveling solo - the small groups make it easy to make friends while having your own space. The guided hikes around Tombstone Mountains and gold panning sessions in Dawson City create natural opportunities to connect with others. Solo travelers particularly like how we mix scheduled activities with free time in Whitehorse, where they can join group outings or hit the hiking trails on their own. The combination of stays in welcoming northern towns and optional add-ons like scenic Denali flights lets everyone shape their trip while having the safety net of an experienced guide.
Our Canadian Rockies luxury tours really hit the mark with couples. Those Fairmont hotels, especially in Lake Louise and Banff, have this perfect romantic atmosphere that pairs just love. Days are filled with activities like hiking Jasper National Park or exploring Athabasca Glacier in an Ice Explorer, while evenings are for fine dining with mountain views. The Alaska Inside Passage cruise portion gets great feedback - couples can watch glaciers calve from their private balcony and explore gold rush towns together. There's flexibility to add special touches like helicopter rides over the Rockies or wine tasting in Kelowna which lets each couple create their ideal trip.
Active adventures through the Canadian Rockies and Alaska really appeal to younger travelers. The mix includes challenging hikes on Kluane's Auriol Trail, kayaking through Misty Fjords and getting up close to bears in Katmai Park. Young travelers particularly connect with how we blend physical activities and cultural experiences - from First Nations traditions at the Squamish Lil'wat Centre to Klondike history in Dawson City. We've built in enough free time around Whistler and Vancouver for independent exploring while keeping group activities that naturally bring young travelers together.
Our train and cruise combinations really work well for senior travelers. The Rocky Mountaineer's glass-dome cars offer easy viewing of the Rockies with great service and included meals. The pace feels just right - mixing visits to Victoria's Butchart Gardens and Vancouver city tours with relaxing Alaska Inside Passage cruises. Seniors appreciate our walking tours through historic Skagway and Ketchikan, with options for more active excursions if they're interested. Having premium lodging options and tour directors who handle all the details makes these tours ideal for mature travelers who want to explore without any hassles.
The Rocky Mountaineer train journey really sets the tone for our family tours through Canada and Alaska. Kids get excited spotting wildlife through those glass-dome carriages while parents can relax with good meals and comfortable seats. Driving onto ancient glaciers in those massive Ice Explorer vehicles at Columbia Icefield is always a highlight - you should see the looks on everyone's faces. Families tell us they love the Discovery cruise in Fairbanks, especially the stop at the Athabascan village where kids dive into Native traditions. There's plenty of wildlife watching built in, from whale spotting in Prince William Sound to bear watching in Denali Park. We've balanced the educational parts with fun activities and added enough breaks so nobody gets overwhelmed.
