What people love about Australia Northern Territory Tours
- 4 Day Kakadu Katherine Gorge Experience (Accommodated)
Have just returned from 4 event packed days in Kakadu with our guide Jay Bichard from Autopia tours. I couldn't be more complimentary of the tour. We travelled lots of kms in the 4WD vehicle with a nice sized group of 9 travelers. The tour brochure accurately covers what you will see and do, so does not need to be replicated here. Tour Guide Jay was phenomenal - pleasant, engaging, energetic, organized, knowledgeable, and a good manager of the group. Its long, hard days being a tour guide like this, and we appreciated she was always bubbly smiling and informative. Hence we stayed on schedule to see all that we hoped to see. Accommodation in motels was fine and comfortable especially given the remoteness. Food was practical, tasty and adequate given where were travelling. You need to have a reasonable level of physical fitness to do some of the walks - especially into Jim Jim falls. However, all our group were able to reach the destinations. Very enjoyable, and I felt good value for money. Highly recommended as a reasonably good 'taster' of the Kakadu national park.
- 5 Day Kakadu Katherine Litchfield 4WD Adventure (Camping)
The tour was very well organised. We enjoyed the visit to Kakadu immensely. We were impressed with the quality of information given in regard to places of interest, the rock art and culture as well as care taken to ensure that all tour members were properly looked after. We were very pleased to have been a part of such a memorable experience in Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks.
- Kakadu, Arnhem Land, Katherine & Litchfield Adventure
As described by DATa friendly group leaded by a female guide, very informative and kind. She even know how to perfectly drive the 4wd truck. Amazing places, lots of crocs and camp fires !

The Larapinta Trail attracts many walkers to its well-planned 6-day guided treks, where you'll find a perfect balance between tough hikes and relaxing camp stays. Early summits of Mount Sonder reward you with sweeping MacDonnell Ranges views, while gentle walks through Inarlanga Pass reveal ancient cycad palms. Our customers love taking cooling dips in waterholes between walks. Other popular routes combine the Kings Canyon rim walk, where 440-million-year-old rocks tell their story, with guided walks around Uluru's base and through Kata Tjuta's Valley of the Winds. These paths run from 3-4 hour moderate walks to full-day hikes, with guides setting a comfortable pace for each group.

Looking at the feedback from our travelers, Intrepid Travel comes out strong with their guide selection. Robert gets mentioned quite a bit - he's one of those guides who really brings places to life with his stories and deep knowledge. Our customers particularly appreciate how he weaves local context into the journey. Autopia Tours also has some solid offerings, and Damian's name keeps coming up in traveler comments. He's known for staying attentive to everyone's needs and giving detailed background on all the locations they visit. That said, we've heard some practical feedback about the camping tours that's worth noting. Several travelers mentioned they'd like to see more variety in the meal options, especially for people with different dietary needs. There's also been a consistent note about water bottles - the current ones aren't quite big enough for longer hiking days, which means extra stops to refill. These are the kind of small but important details that can make a real difference on a multi-day tour, particularly when you're out in nature and away from regular supplies. It's good these issues have been flagged because they're fairly straightforward to address and fix.

"Good trip with knowledgeable guide. Felt a bit rushed sometimes, and would have been nice for daily itinerary to be clearer in advance. Also would have appreciated some interaction with the local people, perhaps at the cultural centre, to better understand some of the Aboriginal culture.
