The organisation of the tour was outstanding. All communication was timely, extremely helpful, all done without a hitch on WhatsApp. I thought it was a group tour but it turned out to be a series of individual tours with my own guide and driver. What seemed originally a bit expensive as internal flights and 7 night accommodation were not included turned out to be a wonderful experience. My tour guide in Cairo was Abbas Karama, a young, extraordinarily knowledgeable man with a great sense of humour. He explained all cultural backgrounds of the sites and then gave time for exploring them myself, answering questions afterwards. My driver was Ahmed, who was amazingly capable handling the chaotic Cairo traffic with ease and a lot of honking. In Aswan my tour guide was Mohamed El Kady. He was in anyway a perfect guide. Again, extremely knowledgeable, funny, and giving time to explore on my own. Watching other tour groups following the flags of their tour guides, I realised how lucky I was. The tour covered Egypt from Alexandria in the north to Abu Simbel in the south. All airport and hotel transfers were efficient and on time. I had a wonderful time, thanks to Egypt Gift Tours
