    Very well organised tour, communication with Vacations to Go Travel was very clear & prompt. Airport pick-ups and drop-offs all very smooth. They accommodated our seven hour delayed arrival (courtesy of British Airways) without any problem! Our Egyptologist guides (Bassem & Mansour) were both exceptional; very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful with anything we asked or needed. Being a small group of six we felt we had a very personal service from them both. I think it would be very difficult to achieve a tour like this independently, particularly in 10 days. The guides make everything simpler and quicker, from purchasing tickets at the monuments to organising transport to and from the hotel & ship, making for a very relaxed & stress-free experience. The hotel in Cairo (Steigenberger El Tahrir) was clean & comfortable and had an wide selection for breakfast. WiFi was good and available everywhere. The lunches we had as part of the tours in and around Cairo were both authentic & excellent. The cruise ship (Esmerelda) was great with delicious food - very wide choice and good quality. Clean, large cabin, friendly staff, with amusing & unusual towel art! The only thing that let it down was the WiFi - difficult to connect & reconnect to, non-existent in the restaurant and the free package (1GB) stopped working prematurely. It wasn't a big problem for us as we had a generous cellular data package, having bought a SIM at Cairo airport. The tour involves quite a few early starts (particularly if the options for a balloon ride & a trip to Abul Simbel [both excellent] are taken), but this means monuments can be visited when it's cooler and they are slightly less crowded. I think it would be very difficult to achieve a tour like this independently, particularly in 10 days. The guides make everything simpler, from purchasing tickets at the monuments to organising transport. Overall this tour exceeded my expectations and was very good value. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour or company and would use them again.

    I recently embarked on a captivating tour of Egypt that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was undoubtedly the Pyramids of Giza—standing in their shadow was an awe-inspiring experience. Our journey continued in Luxor, where the temples and tombs provided a stunning glimpse into ancient history. A cruise along the Nile was equally memorable, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. I also enjoyed immersing myself in local culture, from cooking classes to exploring vibrant markets. The warmth of the Egyptian people made every moment even more special. In short, this tour is a must for anyone eager to explore the rich history and beauty of Egypt!

    The trip on the Nile cruise was great. The staff was very polite and very supportive. A huge variety was provided for the food for lunch and for dinner. Even breakfast boxes were prepared if the trips for the day started earlier. Also the organization to the cruise and to the hotels after was taken care of perfectly. In general, the individual planning for each person was on point. When the staff found out that it was our honeymoon, they went beyond and decorated our room. We even got a cake. The pool was very cold but we enjoyed it a lot. It was never too busy on the rooftop. We had great people in our group and loved to spend time with them during the trip. Our guide Ahmed Kassem was doing his best to keep us informed, happy and safe. We appreciated his effort a lot. For the Edfu temple visit, all the boats went at the same time so it was very crowded. Maybe the operator could try to plan this a bit differently. The wifi needs to be improved (and free of charge) and the shower was leaking at one point which led to a wet bathroom floor. Also the variety of the drinks could be a bit more. But this is critic on a high level. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely do it again.

    "From the moment we arrived at Cairo airport and were met by Michael everything was so well organised. All the tour guides were amazing not only informative but friendly and flexible. Everything went like clockwork. They even provided us with a handy tipping guide which we even shared with some other travellers we met on the cruise it was so helpful. We added an optional day trip to Alexandria too. We saw some absolutely amazing sights and would also recommend the hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings. The cruise along the Nile was great. We mostly did our sightseeing in the morning or evening leaving us to relax on the boat in the heat of the day (temperatures over 40 degrees) You will be amazed by the sights and you really do have to see it to appreciate it all.

    "My mother and me really enjoyed this organized trip. From the first day until the last day we felt super comfortable with our tour operator Eyad. He was available via WhatsApp and the communication worked really well. Even when suddenly there was a flight cancelled, he was available in the very early morning and helped us to get the next flight. Our guides Khaled, Yusir and Maha were also very attendant and explained a lot to us in the different cultural sites, since my mother and me are very interested in Egyptian culture and heritage. Our three guides really made the time in the temples a well informed and fun experience. And we enjoyed to be in a small group, so we could ask everything we wanted. The hotels were very nice and the accommodation highlight was the cruise ship „Royal Elite“. The staff was so polite and attendant, we were very happy with them. We can highly recommend this tour. It was really worth it. We got to know the ancient Egyptian culture and buy having our great tour guides, we could also ask a lot about Egyptian lifestyle today. Thank you so much! We are looking forward to our next trip to Egypt!

    "The guide Mohammad was very experienced with each site and had a complete understanding of the temples and hieroglyphics. However, I sometimes had trouble understanding along what he was talking about due to his English. It would have been nice to be sent a clearer itinerary of each day prior to the tour, and what was included. The extra fees are somewhat of a mystery and a detailed breakdown of 'entry fees' and 'tipping' would be nice. That and of course the optional extra tours, to anticipate how much extra, and which days they would be on. Perhaps the tour radar itinerary just needs a little bit of tweaking and some extra bits of information added in there to manage expectations. The final thing I noticed were the many different whatsapp conversations I received during my time on the tour, it ended up being 5. In the future it would help everyone involved to just have 1. whatsapp group with the tourguide/ other guests 2. whatsapp group for operations and planning, and every transfer/ payment/ any business questions go in there. It felt confusing and a little uncomfortable having so many people contact my personal number from a safety point of view. Otherwise it was a good tour, I hope this feedback doesn't deter you too much, just wanted to share my honest opinion so you can continue to make the tour great. Thanks again!
