What people love about Yucatan Tours
- Viva Mexico
So lucky to have got the chance to be on the first Mexico trip with INTRO. So well organized and the inclusions where amazing. One of the best trips I have ever been on. Our group leader was fantastic.
- Mini Wonders of the Maya
Miguel was a fantastic tour guide! I would give him 10 stars if possible! This was my first solo vacation/first time in Mexico. I felt 100% safe, and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a laid back pace to learn about the rich history of Mayan culture while exploring various parts of Mexico.
- Cycle Mexico - The Yucatan Peninsula
The tour was wonderful. We got to see parts of the Yucatan that your average toutist does not see. Cycling through the small villages gave us a great flavor of the countryside. The entire trip went very smoothly. It's evident that the itinerary was well thought out and planned. Daniel, our van driver was amazing. He maneuvered the van with the bike trailer with ease and great expertise. Reuben, our tour leader was amazing. He is very knowledgeable about Mexican history and culture. The group was very inquisitive and Reuben answered al of our questions, no matter how small. The knowledge he possesses is amazing. The bikes were comfortable and easy to shift, although some of the bike bags did not fit properly or were difficult to attach. We really enjoyed the trip and are glad that we participated.

Top operators in Yucatan
INTRO Travel gets consistent praise from their customers, with travelers often mentioning how smoothly everything runs and the excellent value they receive. Their guides Ethan and Mark really stand out - you'll find lots of comments about how they go above and beyond to make trips special and share interesting local knowledge along the way. For something different, Explore's Yucatan cycling tours are worth looking into, especially if you want to see Mexico from a different angle. Their guide Ruben knows exactly when to adjust routes based on the group's pace and interests, plus he's got deep knowledge of the region's history and culture that really adds depth to the experience. Both companies focus on different styles of travel but share that attention to getting the details right and having guides who know their stuff. The big difference is that INTRO specializes more in organized group experiences while Explore shines when it comes to active cycling adventures through specific regions. I've been looking at recent customer feedback across our booking platform, and it's clear these aren't just one-off good reviews - there's a consistent pattern of positive experiences with both operators, especially when it comes to how well they handle all the practical details that make or break a trip.

"I had an incredible time on the tour. The first half being filled with lots of great activities such as boat tours, mezcal/pox tasting and optional ones such as pottery (which I highly recommend). We really got to embrace the culture of Mexico with the local and indigenous communities visits and exploring each place we stayed. the long drives were long and bumpy but very manageable and really weren’t a concern as had frequent breaks and all part of the experience. The only thing that would have made it better would potentially have been another night in oaxaca to make it feel less rushed. The second half being at a slower but still filled itinerary was welcomed and allowed for a more relaxed time. Beach days and island hopping was amazing, and cenotes/chichen itza made for more highlights. Our group leader Ceci and our local guide (JP) were great and super knowledgeable, answers any and all questions along with great recommendations for food and drink. Ceci was supportive and enthusiastic throughout helping with anything she could and really the trip as worthwhile and memorable. (Thank you Ceci)
