My Overland Track hike with Intrepid Travel was excellent. The trip was run by Tasmanian Hikes and there was nothing at all I would give them anything less than an excellent rating. The equipment was top notch, the guides were superb, the food was amazing (and very unexpected) and the knowledge of the hike, flora and fauna and the area itself were second to none.

The tour was awesome, we did see a lot of spectacular things all around Tasmania, the guide James was firendly and did almost all the walks with us. The first 2 nights at “bumby’s” accomodation were really confortable. The hostel at bicheno wasnt really clean tho. In general, I loved my trip and wished I had booked more days!

"I did this tour in late January 2025. I would give it four stars overall. We had a nice small group of 7 people, with a range of ages-which was good. Our guide was attentive, gave us detailed instructions and was knowledgeable about the areas we travelled to. The mini bus was clean and we all had plenty of room. Our guide had purchased snacks and fruit for us daily which was really nice. The accommodation at the various stops was clean, with good showers. Wi-Fi was ok on the whole but one motel you could only access it in the bar. Food for me was a bit disappointing, several nights it was only bar food available and breakfasts were only ok. I think the trip would benefit from one less day on the West coast and spend the time around Hobart. There is a fair bit of walking but you don’t need to be super fit. Would I do the trip again yes.

"Brendon is the best tour guide. The tour was great, the group also was good so we can took some extra places to visit. Only the YHA accomodation was bad at the end of the tour. You got to know the people in the group than the last night you have to share bedroom with other strangers not with your group.
