We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the overall itinerary and most of the accommodations, and that Charles provided excellent service as your driver and guide. However, we regret that the timing of the itinerary delivery and the accommodations in the traditional Japanese hotel did not meet your expectations. We understand that traditional Japanese futons are not to everyone’s taste. When staying in hot spring areas, our special room types, such as Japanese-style rooms, provide an authentic experience. We usually advise guests who may prefer different accommodations to inform us so that we can make the necessary amendments to their booking. Upon reviewing your booking details, it appears that your reservation was not made through this platform, and there seems to be a discrepancy between the itinerary you mentioned here and the one associated with your booking. We have also consulted with Eli, our tour manager, regarding your booking. Our itineraries are consistent with what is shown on our website and typically do not change ; however, tour guide names and contact are usually provided to guests about one week prior to travel. We ensure that our 24-hour contact line is available for any immediate assistance during this period. Dear Bruce, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand that the situation you described surrounding your Taiwan tour was disappointing and impacted your overall experience. I’d like to address each of your concerns and provide you with the transparency you deserve. On the date of your travel, we arranged two coaches. You were assigned to Bus B, which included only one passenger who was not fluent in English. There were eighteen clearly non-Chinese, English only, participants. The tour guide, Michael Ma, is very experienced professional tour guide who guides this tour for many years. We welcome travelers from many different countries, and our goal is to create an inclusive experience for everyone. Please rest assured that our guide speaks English to support all English-speaking guests and provide a comfortable experience. Regarding the bed type configuration, we were not informed that the travelers were your son and daughter until your arrival. Upon your arrival at the hotel, we promptly booked an extra room for you( in a 5-star hotel). This resulted in accommodations for 4 people across 3 rooms without any surcharge. Once your booking is confirmed, it is guaranteed to depart as scheduled. We will not cancel the tour once your booking is confirmed. Even if the number of travelers does not meet the minimum requirement, the tour will still proceed. We sometimes work with our trusted partners - we shares all hotel contracters, buses and the guides, to ensure the tour proceeds smoothly, combining resources when necessary to provide the best experience for all guests. Once again, Bruce, I deeply regret that we did not provide the level of service you expected and that this impacted your enjoyment of Taiwan.
