What people love about Family Tours in Italy
- Italian Holiday (7 Days)
I had booked the Italian Holiday tour from Trafalgar through tourradar. The tour was well managed and the itinerary packed as much possible in 7 days covering Rome, Pisa, Florence, Venice and Verona. The tour director was knowledgeable and there were optional local guided tours available in each places.Booking through tourradar was extremely easy and the responses to questions were prompt. Looking forward to another tour in the next few years.
- Best of the Italian Lakes (9 Days)
Really well looked after, great tour guide with lots of knowledge, good optional excursions as well as included tours. Second trip with Trafalgar
- Best of Italy (Classic, Summer, 11 Days)
We absolutely LOVED our tour with Insights Vacation and would highly recommend it! Our tour began in Rome where we meet Caroline (our tour guide) and Antonio ( our bus driver) as well as our fellow travelers. It was a wonderful tour, so fun and so many amazing things to see. Yes there was a lot of walking but we expected that and started walking at home months before we left. So the walking was no problem for us, plus you must walk to see the sights, so worth it. Yes they do charge extra for extra excursions, we didn’t mind this as we wanted to get the most from this trip. Just a little side note: you could be standing in one location in the city and the tour guide would walk you around the block, where much to your amazement is a massive church or other historical sight. If you didn’t know to look for this, if it wasn’t on your radar, you would not have known it was there. That was why having the Tours and tour guide’s was worth the extra cost. Also not everyone did every tour, several went out on their own to explore or do what they wanted to do. We loved the tour guides as they were so knowledgeable and nice, and most times funny as well. Also for us, not having to mess with maps and taxi’s and finding what we were looking for was another big plus of being on the tour. Each morning we awoke, knowing this is where we are going, this is what we will be seeing and this is what we will be doing, this is where we stay, where we eat, it was all laid out for us.
