  The best part of our tour was Pompeii and The Colusseum. Diana was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable about all the sights and places we went. I would recommend her for all my Italy tours.

  The tour over all was great. However, it started off on the wrong foot which was due to no one from CIE meeting us at the airport. I paid over $300 for a water taxi transfer and had no one to help us make the connection. We had to spend additional funds to get transportation to our hotel. This meant carrying heavy luggage over several bridges. I called the number on our transport voucher 10 times and no one answered. When we meet our tour guide, she said that she got an email that we were a no show. She told us that she could do nothing to help get a reimbursement for the payment. This is not the level of service that I have come to rely on from previous CIE tour guides. This was my 3rd tour with CIE. I think I will be trying another company on my ne t trip.

  This was my second tour with CIE. I would definitely use CIE again. I would highly recommend CIE! Our tour guide, Romina, made the Italy tour an amazing experience! She was outstanding!!! There were 41 people on our tour and she kept us informed and organized. Romina has a dynamic personality! She educated us on history and shared stories along the way while sharing her knowledge and by injecting humor. She would give great tips on where to go or what to do in our free time. She would go above and beyond to give us the best experience. This was a trip of a lifetime for me. CIE and Romina made it memorable!! Our flight was cancelled 48 hours before departure. Mark from Air worked hard to get us rescheduled. He was absolutely great to work with! The tour hit the main attractions but it also offered some hidden gems like Bologna and Orvieto. I loved every minute of this tour! Ciao!
