What people love about Italy Tours from Venice
- Italia Amore Mio (Small Group)
If you’re thinking about visiting Italy and want to see a little bit of everything, this is the tour to book. We covered so much ground—from Venice to Rome to the Amalfi Coast—without feeling rushed, and the whole thing was super well-organized. Venice was the perfect start. We did a gondola ride and had an amazing welcome dinner. The views, the food, the history—it was incredible. Florence was beautiful, especially with all the Renaissance art and history, and I loved the free time to explore. Plus, we did a wine tasting in Chianti which was just chef’s kiss. ? The hotels were all comfortable, with great locations. My favorite stay was in Florence—it felt like a little retreat in the city. The transportation was really smooth too; no stress at all with getting from place to place. We saw so many iconic spots, from the Sistine Chapel in Rome to the ruins of Pompeii. I honestly can’t pick a favorite moment, but the boat trip along the Amalfi Coast was something I’ll never forget. Also, the food—wow. Every meal was delicious. The small group size made everything feel more personal, and the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We also had enough free time to wander and do our own thing, which was awesome. Overall, this tour was worth every dollar. I came home with amazing memories, great photos, and a deep love for Italy. If you want a well-balanced, fun, and stress-free way to see the best of Italy, I 100% recommend this tour and Eskapas.

Which areas of Venice are most tours based in when starting their journey?
Venice tour starting points cluster around three key neighborhoods. The San Marco district puts visitors steps from the iconic square while the Santa Croce area near Piazzale Roma and Cannaregio district by the train station offer convenient access points. Accommodations range from the canal-side Hotel San Cassiano in San Polo to the practical Hotel Villa Rosa near Santa Lucia station and Hotel Mercure in mainland Mestre. A TourRadar traveler mentioned: "Our hotel location near St. Mark's Square was perfect for exploring Venice's main attractions."
What transportation options are available from Venice Marco Polo Airport to tour starting points?
Private water taxis whisk travelers from Marco Polo Airport to Venice hotels in about 45 minutes offering an introduction to the city's waterways.
