- JJJeanette· June 4th, 2024A couple of weeks before our trip, we received an email changing our hotel accommodations, with no explanation. On arrival at each hotel, we found that 3 out of the 4 hotels were not centrally located so we spent a lot of our time in each city figuring out how to take transit to each hotel and to all the main city sights. We did not travel to Italy to see the suburbs! Our excursions, booked ahead through Viator, were all very good but were centrally located so lengthy transit was always needed. During the Amalfi Coast tour, we heard from others on the same Wingbuddy tour that they had stayed in hotels that were closer to city centres. Laurence· June 2nd, 2024Our departure flights were completely botched and Wingbuddy did not provide the best alternative flights for the customer, instead re-routed our travel to Italy through the US adding an extra flight and decreasing our time in Venice by over 4 hours. A tour rep did not greet us at the airport in Venice and we had to take a taxi to our hotel on our own. All hotels in the package were not in good locations for exploring the cities on our own, and did not meet our expectations of the star rating provided for each hotel. except the hotel in Sorrento (Michelangelo). - EFEdward· September 23rd, 2023The tour and schedule was fine . The hotels were far below 3-4 stars . I rebooked my own hotels in Venice , Florence and Rome . Amalfi coast was ok but far below Michael angelo hotel. We were far out and no pool , bar or restaurant . I sent 8 request on pickup time on Saturday and received no answer and Sunday cot a call at 7 am yelling at me because I was not at hotel . I booked tours with other companies and all was great , your tour to almafi was good but poor communication. As I mentioned no one knew or cared to tell me how dinner worked , after tour I was not even dropped off at my hotel like others. I also had to Buy new train tickets as I prefer a better ride in bios ones class .sport to be the bearer of this news but I’m sure I’ll get no response as that’s been the pattern after my final payment was made. I’m not cheap , I would of love options when booking yo upgrade hotels at my cost , same with trains . In Venice I tagged at Griffey palace , in Florence I stayed at AW Mariott , Rome Waldorf Astoria . Do my suggestion would be options for those booking .
