  I was on the golden triangle tour in December 2024 and loved it. Our tour guide in Delhi, Alvina, was so nice and sweet and loves her city. She honestly seemed happy to be showing us around. She also was great with dealing with my jet lag which made me slightly nauseous and unable to partake in some things (and seriously needing food). She successfully handled competing needs of myself and others in the tour. Our Jaipur guide, Rajesh, was willing to take as much time as we needed to see sites and he really seemed happy to explain take time and show/explain to us everything. But truthfully the hidden gem was our driver, Rajuddin. He was with us for the whole time. He was able to recommended good restaurants to eat at for dinner — and he went out of his way to drive us to and from dinner and any other random, not put of tour, excursions we decided to do. He was definitely the gem of the tour group. ——— Things I wish I had known (and may not be specific to Joyful holidays; I don’t know) 1) cost for sites is separate and roughly 500 rupee each. Expect to pay this for each one — in cash! (Despite that whole “some take cards”) 2) tour guide is per city, going between cities was just our driver; he was really our life line in knowing what’s going on. 3) sometimes it feels very last minute, what’s going on. I’m not sure why, but everything is done and organized and just works out.

  Very well organised, spectacular sights. Fantastic driver Raju, who has limited English but vety helpful, has great wit and is expert at pointing out uniquely absurd things one only sees in India. Local guides were all very knowledgeable: Vijay in Agra was efficient. In Delhi, Alvina had a very easy English accent for us to get used to as our first guide and her flexible timetable for us was much appreciated. Rajesh in Jaipur was very congenial and an excellent raconteur.

  The tour was fantastic! The guides were very knowledgeable, providing interesting information and helpful context as they lead us around each site. They answered our questions. Pictures never quite capture the experience of being in a place but the guides had great tips of picture taking spots that produced pictures that got us closer to this aspiration. Our guides also served as trusted companions in these unfamiliar cities. For example, our guide asked if we wanted to take a 20 minute ride in a rickshaw around Delhi. We thought that'd be fun. He found a rickshaw driver for us and told us exactly how much we should pay the driver. Thanks to our guide, our decision to take the ride was quick and worry-free—whereas when we considered engaging in similar activities on our own before the tour, we constantly worried about whether we'd be tricked or pressured into paying extra. The tour was well planned and executed so nearly every moment was well spent. When we arrived at a site, our driver dropped us off at the entrance. In some cases, the guides were even able to bring us all the way up to the front of the line so we didn't have to wait. Our guide and driver coordinated such that, when we were done with a site, our driver was there ready to bring us to the next location. We never had to wait. On some days, the tour included a stop at a local shop. At each of these stops, we had a small snack (e.g. a samosa and chai) and got to learn about the process of manufacturing a local speciality. Delhi was about rugs & scarfs, Agra was about marble, and Jaipur was about gemstones. Then they showed us some of their final products and gave us the option to shop and make purchases. There wasn't a strong pressure to buy anything—about half of the time we ended up not making any purchases. During these stops, I enjoyed learning about local specialities and getting to see behind the scenes of how they are manufactured. The guides were accommodating to our preferences. We let our guides know that, instead of paying site entree fees with cash and having to manage the cash, we'd prefer to pay with credit card or online. As a result, we paid most site entree fees with credit card or online. I really enjoyed this tour! Between the guides and driver, we had a lot of great information about the sites, we got to and from each site without having to wait around, and we received trusted advice for additional things we wanted to do in these unfamiliar cities. I would do another tour with this company!

  We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the great arrangements made during our trip. We truly enjoyed our experience, and our driver was exceptional. The guide in Agra was ok. But Bunty Sharma, who guided us in Fatehpur Sikri, was excellent—very humorous and possessing great social skills. The disable guide for the "Step Well", we kindly request that you continue to hire him as he works diligently and puts forth significant effort. Regarding Rajesh Barashar, our guide in Jaipur, demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience.   The tour was great our driver Pravin was excellent he was very prompt, drove well even though it was crazy busy on the roads. I felt relaxed in the car Pravin would provide us with correct information, guidance and was always was happy to have a joke and a laugh with us. The 8 day tour of the Golden Triangle was sufficient time for me especially those long day in the car, the only thing that needs a review would be the accommodation. l mad lots of trouble at the Palace Hotel (4 star in Delhi) the card system they had to open your door would never work and staff assistance was required most of the time, very annoying after a long hot day of sightseeing. I was travelling with friends and they had a stranger (not Staff) open there door with a card and walk in. Agra accommodation was nice (4 star) clean, comfortable and lovely staff. The difference between 4star in the above was so different to Jaipur I could only suggest offering 5 star only. Overall we all had an adventure and it was so lovely to meet Sonia her family and Staff. I Would have no hesitation in recommending TourRadar.

  I went on a 7 days golden triangle tour. Fantastic attention to details In tour. The guides provided excellent service, well informative! One person went above and beyond his service was the driver was Sonu.

  Our driver, Mr. Praveen, was great. He got us safely and quickly to our destinations without and problems in the crazy traffic and awful road conditions in India. Sonia, the owner of the company, was always in communication with us. Our accomodations were ok in Delhi, good in Agra but excellent in Japour. I will be using Joyful Holidays again if we visit India in the future for their services are worth the hassle of making arrangements yourself.

  Shiv our driver was excellent and got us from A to B safely every day - no complaints! If we needed longer at one place or to take a detour to see something else it was all accommodated with a smile. The tour covered all monuments mentioned in the itinerary and the guides in the cities provided good information (if a little repetitive at times as it was a different guide for each day in our case) There are several stops at various shops/cottage industries which are not mentioned on the itinerary where you will have the 'opportunity' to purchase handicrafts/textiles etc. And the lunch stops planned were very much tourist oriented and the prices reflected that. There was plenty of spare time on the 7 day tour for us to make our own evening/dinner plans and explore independently which was appreciated. Sonia was on hand at all points if needed and her communicated prior and during the tour was excellent. We upgraded to 4 star hotels after booking with ease

  Great Tour Experience! Nice Hotels in all cities with very good support staff. Our driver was the jewel of our trip! He made us feel like family in India every day. He was so attentive with our teenage son and always helpful in all our needs. Our day guides gave more than just information about each visited site, but combined with personal experiences, and made us feel truly apart of India.

  We booked a Golden Triangle tour from Joyful Holidays only 10 days in advance and Sonia and her team delivered! Everything from airport pickup to itinerary, hotels and guides was customized for our schedule and went flawlessly. We really enjoyed the sights without worrying about logistics. All we had to do was show up! Our driver Ajay was friendly and an expert driver, he cut through the insane city traffic without any stress and we enjoyed spending the week with him. Sonia also went out of her way to ensure we were happy with the tour and were 'joyful' the entire time. We highly recommend Joyful Holidays and supporting woman-owned business!
