What people love about England And France Tours
- London & Paris
Confusing transfer to the Eurostar train both leaving London and getting to bus in Paris.
- Paris, Normandy & Châteaux Country with London
We had a wonderful trip. The travel insurance through GLOBUS was a waste of money. My luggage never showed up in France and our flight home from Montreal was canceled. Not GLOBUS’ fault, but their insurance company, Aon, has so far not paid anything. I’ve jumped through all the hoops they’ve required, but they keep denying my claim. They needed statements from the airline and the tour director, which I’ve tracked down. Don’t buy their travel insurance!
- London & Paris
We expected guides but the truth is that the company gets the bus tickets for you. It is fine if they say so in advance. Otherwuse is disappointing. Help online is good.

Paris and London come together nicely in several budget-friendly tours that really deliver. Our most popular 7-day route connects both capitals and includes quick access to the Eiffel Tower's top level plus guided walks through the old quarters. There's also a solid 5-day option focused on the main sites, with river cruises on both the Thames and Seine - the Seine one includes dinner which is a nice touch. Our travelers consistently mention how these tours hit all the key spots while leaving plenty of time to wander on your own. For those with a bit more time, the 10-day version adds Amsterdam and Bruges into the mix. The included Eurostar tickets between cities and well-placed hotels make independent exploration really straightforward, which helps keep costs down.
The river cruise options really shine for luxury travelers, especially those combining Seine voyages with extended London stays. There's this excellent 14-day trip starting in Paris that gets you into Château de La Roche Guyon after hours for private concerts - pretty special. Another high-end option starts with VIP access to the Chelsea Flower Show before heading off on a Seine cruise through Normandy. The suite cabins come with butler service and room-service breakfast made just how you like it. Our clients love the small group sizes for tours and those extra special moments - like private painting sessions in Giverny and early morning visits to Monet's gardens before everyone else shows up.

The 10-day art-focused journey is particularly good - you'll explore the Louvre with a real art historian and discover smaller galleries tucked away in London's Mayfair. Our clients really appreciate being able to adjust their daily schedule and dive deep into what interests them most, whether that's exploring the Tower of London's medieval past or checking out contemporary art in Paris's Marais district.

The week-long tours between London and Paris have really hit their stride with a smart mix of must-see spots and local discoveries. You'll start in London where three full days let you properly explore - there's guided walks through Westminster, time inside St Paul's Cathedral and that classic moment watching the Guard change at Buckingham Palace. Our travelers tell us they love having enough time to wander through places like Covent Garden after seeing the big sites. Then it's onto Paris via Eurostar, where we've arranged evening Seine cruises and quick access to skip those long Eiffel Tower queues. The schedule works well because it mixes guided tours with free afternoons, so you can find your own favorite spots in the Latin Quarter or do some shopping along the Champs-Élysées.

Solo travelers tell us they love the route through Lille and Bruges between London and Paris. It's got this perfect mix of guided activities and time to wander. Lille tends to surprise people with its excellent shopping and local culture, plus you can't beat those Belgian waffles in Bruges - our travelers keep coming back just for those! The Christmas tours adding Amsterdam are particularly popular; you'll spend the festive season with a friendly group and get to experience those cozy holiday markets. Whether you're taking a canal cruise or exploring hidden neighborhoods, there's always someone to share the experience with.
Couples find plenty of romantic moments on our England-France tours. The Explorer package includes a lovely Seine River cruise and you can add a West End show in London if you'd like. Many of our pairs love the dinner at the Eiffel Tower followed by an evening boat ride - Paris just glows at night. The Loire Valley route is particularly special, taking you through château country with wine tastings and nights in historical towns. We handle all the travel details while leaving plenty of time for those spontaneous moments, like finding a quiet spot in London's Royal Parks or wandering hand-in-hand through Montmartre.
Young travelers going between these countries tend to pick our more active routes. Some tours include nights out in London's Soho and Paris's lively Pigalle area. You can even combine city visits with actual adventures like hiking the Pyrenees in Andorra or cycling Amsterdam's canal paths. The included dinners and evening gatherings make it easy to meet other travelers, and our guides know just where to find those perfect local spots - whether it's craft beer in Bruges or wine bars tucked away in Paris's Latin Quarter.
Our older travelers particularly enjoy the thoughtfully planned cross-channel tours. The combination of Paris, Normandy and London works really well, with comfortable travel and well-timed stops along the way. Many appreciate visiting the WWI Somme battlefields, Monet's beautiful Giverny gardens and several historic abbeys. We keep the pace manageable while making sure you don't miss any cultural highlights. The hotels are centrally located, though it's worth asking about bathroom setups if that's important to you. Our guides get lots of praise for their historical knowledge and also their attention to everyone's comfort throughout the journey.
Our London & Paris family tours really hit the mark, especially the 9-day Explorer package that takes you through Stonehenge and the Roman Baths. Kids and parents both get excited about these ancient sites. A recent family told us how their teenage daughter had a blast figuring out London's Tube and Paris's Metro - turning it into her own little navigation game. The London Eye gives everyone amazing views, while Windsor Castle and Notre Dame add that perfect historical touch. We've built in enough free time for families to shop, explore and bond together, with guided portions to help everyone understand the rich stories behind these remarkable places.

- Winter 2025 / 2026
London to Paris really comes alive during winter with some excellent holiday-focused tours. There's this great 4-day Christmas run that starts in London and heads through Dover's White Cliffs before crossing over to Amsterdam.
