Each destination had its unique charm, and we felt we saw the best of India in just 7 days. We began our journey in Delhi, exploring landmarks like India Gate, Red Fort, and Humayun’s Tomb. Our local guide was knowledgeable, providing fascinating historical context that brought these places to life. In Jaipur, we had a once-in-a-lifetime experience riding elephants up to Amber Fort. The City Palace and Hawa Mahal were stunning, and the bustling Pink City market was a perfect place to soak in the vibrant culture. In Agra, no trip to India would be complete without seeing the Taj Mahal, and it did not disappoint. Agra Fort was also impressive, and the Tuk Tuk ride around the city added a fun and local touch to our visit. Our visit to Ranthambore National Park was another highlight, where we had an exciting safari in search of tigers and other wildlife. While we didn’t spot a tiger, the jungle experience was exhilarating, and the beauty of the park made it well worth the visit. Throughout the journey, the local guides, drivers, and accommodations were top-notch. We were always comfortable, well-informed, and well taken care of.   "It is certainly a fast-paced tour, but it had to be to fit all the wonderful sites and experiences into the time available. Our biggest thank you to our guide. Not only did he help us, feel safe and secure, but the knowledge that he imparted with the passion and pride that he clearly holds for India made the explanations even more relevant and fulfilling. He was not afraid to broach the tough subjects, but in an impartial and positive manner, which left us feeling that we had an immeasurably better understanding of India’s culture, and beliefs, as well as it’s history, than we could have expected. He did a great job looking after the entire diverse group, and I think everybody was grateful for the brilliant way he handled issues and obstacles along the way.
