  We recently completed a Golden Triangle Tour with a visit to Ranthambore, organized by World Travel Experiences, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From start to finish, every detail was perfectly planned and executed, making our trip truly unforgettable. Our tour covered the iconic cities of Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra, along with the added bonus of a thrilling wildlife experience in Ranthambore. Each destination had its unique charm, and we felt we saw the best of India in just 7 days. We began our journey in Delhi, exploring landmarks like India Gate, Red Fort, and Humayun’s Tomb. Our local guide was knowledgeable, providing fascinating historical context that brought these places to life. In Jaipur, we had a once-in-a-lifetime experience riding elephants up to Amber Fort. The City Palace and Hawa Mahal were stunning, and the bustling Pink City market was a perfect place to soak in the vibrant culture. In Agra, no trip to India would be complete without seeing the Taj Mahal, and it did not disappoint. Agra Fort was also impressive, and the Tuk Tuk ride around the city added a fun and local touch to our visit. Our visit to Ranthambore National Park was another highlight, where we had an exciting safari in search of tigers and other wildlife. While we didn’t spot a tiger, the jungle experience was exhilarating, and the beauty of the park made it well worth the visit. Throughout the journey, the local guides, drivers, and accommodations were top-notch. We were always comfortable, well-informed, and well taken care of.   Good overall organisation from a helpful central team prior to departure; good local guides in each location (Vijay in Jaipur was superb though) and accommodation was great in all locations but Delhi. Ranthambore was spoiled by no tigers (we understand that they are never guaranteed) but better zone selection may have increased our sighting likelihood. Our driver was superb throughout.

  We are a group of 5 friends who visited India for an incredible private tour of the Golden Triangle and Ranthambore, organized by World Travel Experiences. From start to finish, we were treated with the highest level of professionalism. It’s hard to believe that any trip could run so smoothly. Mr. Rituraj, who helped us plan our journey, was an invaluable source of advice and assistance. He was always available to answer our questions and ensure that all our needs were met. We cannot thank him enough. Throughout our trip, we had three outstanding drivers who expertly navigated the challenging Indian traffic and ensured we reached each destination safely and on time. We also want to extend our gratitude to the WTX team, who stayed in daily phone contact with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The local guides were exceptional. They made sure we fully experienced and understood every site we visited. They were warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and highly professional.   We had a superbly organized tour of the Golden Triangle. World Travel Experiences provided the most knowledgeable and well informed guides which added detail to the splendor. Our driver, Mahipal Singh, was outstanding. For those that have not visited the Sub Continent, driving is an experience. At all times we felt very safe as he is so competent. He was so courteous, always opening the doors and assisting us. He always ensured that there was water and he met our every need. He also resolved any issues. Certainly the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of World Travel Experiences.

Our time in Agra was a highlight, as we were fortunate enough to experience both the stunning sunset and sunrise at the Taj Mahal.   Review of WTX Golden Triangle with Tiger and Amritsar Date: Nov 15-24 Our experience on this tour was mixed. While we enjoyed the sites and met many wonderful people along the way, the trip was far from perfect. Below is our detailed review. **Tour Guides:** The quality of our tour guides varied greatly. Sunny in Amritsar was enthusiastic and engaging, making the experience enjoyable. He was only outdone by Veena in Jaipur, who was an absolute professional—knowledgeable, personable, and very attentive. At our request, she even took us to a local spice market, which was a highlight of our time in Jaipur. In contrast, the guide in Agra, while knowledgeable, seemed more focused on upselling. He frequently pushed us to make purchases at government-run shops, and his disappointment was palpable when we didn’t buy anything. This left a negative impression. The worst experience, however, was in Delhi. Our guide there did not introduce himself, and we never even learned his name. He provided very little information, and much of what he did share was inaccurate. He also left us to explore sites on our own within tight timeframes, which made the experience less enjoyable. **Hotels:** The hotels in Jaipur, Ranthambore, and Amritsar were all excellent—no complaints there. However, our stay at The Deventure in Delhi was a disaster from the start. The desk clerk was rude and arrogant. When we arrived in our room, the baggage handler practically begged for a tip. Things only got worse: the pillowcases were stained, and after we reported this, the staff member who replaced them also asked for a tip. We found more stains on the towels and holes in the linens. The bottles of water provided were open, and the noise from the fridge and air conditioner, along with the clanging metal staircase outside, made it difficult to sleep. After one miserable night, we were moved to a new room. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. When we returned after our trip to Amritsar, the hotel failed to provide a room with two beds as requested. This was eventually fixed, but it was a frustrating experience at 01:00am. The Taj Resort in Agra was equally disappointing. The hotel barely deserves more than two stars. The rooms were in poor condition, with issues like packing tape on the toilet flush and mold in the shower. When we asked about a missing TV remote, the maintenance response was simply to "manually turn it on." The worst part was finding hair in our food at the rooftop restaurant. Thankfully, we were moved to a new hotel, the Royal Sarovar Portico, which met the standards we expected for our second night. **Drivers:** The drivers were definitely a highlight of the trip. Devraj in Delhi was reliable, and Kulwinder in Amritsar was exceptional. Thanks to his skilled driving, we didn’t miss the border ceremony despite a delayed flight. Later, he recommended a local restaurant that we really enjoyed. The standout of the trip, however, was Rajesh, our long-term driver. From the moment he picked us up in Delhi, he made us feel at ease. On our journey to Jaipur, he made special stops to show us local animals and, later, took us off the highway to explore rural villages and the countryside. He even brought us freshly picked guavas as a thoughtful gesture. When we requested a blanket, he went out of his way to source one in Jaipur. Rajesh was proactive, pleasant, and accommodating, and we always felt we were in good hands. We sincerely thank him for everything he did. **Communication and Travel Agent Issues:** Unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues, many of which could have been avoided with better planning and communication. We were disappointed by the treatment of our driver by the travel agent, Saurabh, who seemed to blame him for many of the problems we encountered. We overheard the phone calls and were dismayed by the way our driver was treated, especially since he was always kind and professional with us. By the end of the trip, our driver seemed upset, which added to our dissatisfaction. One example of poor communication occurred when our train to Amritsar was canceled, and we had to incur additional costs to fly to our destination. While we accepted the extra charge, we were unexpectedly told that a cash payment was required. As we had not been notified of this in advance, we didn't have enough cash on hand. This led us to contact the travel agent to arrange an alternative payment method. Another frustration was the itinerary, which states "an early morning drive to the dense jungle for a tiger safari.” When we arrived in the afternoon, we were scrambling as we were unaware we were scheduled for an afternoon trip. This lack of clarity caused unnecessary stress. Had our travel agent sourced better hotels from the beginning, many of our headaches could have been avoided. **Conclusion:** To summarize, our trip was far from the seamless experience we had hoped for. The combination of poor hotel choices, inadequate tour guides, and an unprofessional travel agent led to a frustrating and sometimes upsetting experience. My wife was so disheartened at one point in Delhi that she nearly wanted to give up on the entire trip. Even our wonderful driver, Rajesh, ended on a sour note due to the tensions with the travel agent. We hope this feedback helps improve your services and prevents future guests from having a similar experience.

  A very enjoyable tour, highlights were seeing tigers in the wild, Taj Mahal in Agra and Amber Fort in Jaipur. I had a driver Devendra Kumar for the whole trip and he was excellent, explaining many sights as we travelled the highway and the chaotic roads in the cities. Specialist guides at each stage added to the enjoyable experience.
