- BCBarbara· July 11th, 2024I will begin with the positives: our driver was amazing and looked after us well. The tour guides in each destination were exceptional, especially at the Taj Mahal, Jaipur and in Varanasi. On to the rest... The hotels were often unacceptable and not the ones mentioned in the tour notes. We had to argue to be moved to those mentioned in the tour notes on Tour Radar. In the National Park we were put in the "resort" next door to the one we should have been staying in where the manager was rude and the standards nothing less than disgusting. There were reviews on trip advisor of the manager being inappropriate and predatory of female guests. We had to argue endlessly in order to be moved next door to where we should have been staying. We were told by the tour company owner that there was no availability and yet on Booking.com it was available. I told him I would pay for it myself and sue him upon my return to UK rather than stay there. Next thing there was a knock on the door and our bags were carried next door. When we arrived where we should have stayed it was lovely and the staff amazing. Why a tour company would try to put you somewhere that they know is not up to our minimum standards I do not know. We had the same performance in Varanasi where we had to ask our guide where we could eat and went to a resort just down the road as our hotel was unacceptable and full of cigarette smoke. The price in the resort next door was so reasonable we did not even try to have it refunded. Note to Tour Radar and Amazing India: if you treat your guests well and give them what they paid for, they will leave you good reviews. This was our yearly holiday and if we did not have a fighting spirit and a determination to have a fabulous time in spite of feeling cheated, you could have ruined our holiday. No surprise that Amazing India are not showing any post covid reviews. They would not make good reading I suspect.Show more

Taj Mahal, Tigers, Ganges were highlighted on this tour alot we seen two tigers on our safari. I want to advise all the people that safaris are non refundable and transferrable after it booked so be on time for your safaris but we are very much lucky to choose Amazing India Tours for seamless experiences of India.
