What people love about Patagonia Tours from Punta Arenas
- From Torres del Paine to El Calafate
In my opinion this trip allows you to visit the best destinations in Argentina: Iguazu falls, perito moreno glacier and ushuaia´s city. Mercedes had also helped me to book all domestic flights needed on this trip so I dont have to book them on my own. The selected hotels very great, so comfortable and clean and the optional tours that the company offer are also recomendable.
- 4-Days Discovery Puerto Natales & Torres del Paine
This tour was above and beyond what I was expecting. I was worried initially when I booked it that it was a bit on the pricey side (but other tours were more expensive and it was also one of the only ones operating during winter). I was also warned that during winter the weather might be unpredictable etc but I am not phased by that. By I am SO glad that I booked this tour. Because it was winter there was literally no one there and I had a private tour for 3 out of 4 of the days. The guides I had were fantastic and friendly and informative. The places we visited were stunning. And because it was just me I had complete flexibility with the guide to go wherever I pleased. Everything was so well organised, all of transfers etc turned up at the exact time they told me and I had no problems. Don't be put off going during winter - it's not even that cold (especially for a Northern European) and the wind is minimal compared to Summer and the place is not full of tourists.
- Patagonia: At The End Of The World (9Days/8Nights)
I received prompt communication from the host throughout the tour, and they were helpful with processing refunds for missed tours, etc. I had a great experience with this tour, the excursions were well chosen! A few things to note is that the Penguin tours can be cancelled due to weather (ours was) and on the guided Torres Del Paine hike the guide has full discretion on whether they will allow you to finish the hike. For our group they forced us to turn back, due to deeming our group unfit to finish, meaning we didn't get to finish the hike (the hike itself was decently challenging but pretty standard compared to other popular hikes in parks like Yosemite, Banff, etc)
